Bball1091
He had flashes of good but I foresee fumbles in his near future He needs to get more carries. He looked naturally "shifty" back there. Not only can he run but he's pretty useful in the screen game. Quote Link to comment
HUSKERNU
Sometimes shifty is not as important as ball security 1 Quote Link to comment
chamrocck
He looks like he could be a good one so hopefully he improves ball security. Looks like he can make people miss. But we still need a RB that can make YAC's and move the pile. Maybe he can get to that point as he develops. I remember when I first saw Abdullah he seemed more slight and shifty and he developed just fine. Quote Link to comment
HUSKERNU
I agree but I just wish he'd put two hands on the ball when he's getting tackled. Also would like to see them getting to the perimeter maybe throw some pitches or some Fb dives to soften the middle. Also some PA ROLLOUTS today were nice to see Quote Link to comment
SouthLincoln Husker
Wilbon was the best looking RB we have. 1 Quote Link to comment

Bball1091
None of the backs will do any good if those big fatties don't improve. Well who could argue that. The push upfront today was minimal at best. Quote Link to comment

4skers89
I thought he looked good and beside a couple of nice runs by Newby he was probably the most productive back. Havent checked stats. Saw a picture of Wilbon and it looked like he had well developed arms but yea he needs to cover up the ball better when getting tackled. These are two things Ameer improved on and reduced his fumbles. Quote Link to comment
HuskerInLostWages
Wilbon was the best RB on the team until we finally tried to establish a running game in the 2nd half. I would have liked to see what he would have done in the second half but Newby and Cross got the carries. I really think in the long run it looks like Wilbon has the most potential out of all of the RB corps at this point in time. 1 Quote Link to comment
MichiganDad3
I agree with the OP. The ball was a foot or more away from his body a few times. Quote Link to comment
huskerenner
I agree with the OP. The ball was a foot or more away from his body a few times. Saw Tommy doing the same thing.Especially on the play where he hurdled the defender.Nice run,but could have easily ended in disaster. Quote Link to comment
4skers89
Wilbon was the best looking RB we have. his YPC was lowest of all 3. Him and Newby struggle picking up blitzes. In my opinion, Cross looked the best yesterday...more for his non carry moments...and he did have the highest YPC Good to know. I only judged him on his running and thought Wilbon looked good. I like Cross too. Need some veteran guys to step up and make a difference! Quote Link to comment
