cecropia
Yes, I mentioned to others around me that TA seemed to be trying to "throw" the game. I was serious. It also seemed Iowa defenders were aware of the fact-- never blitzing, but just laying back waiting for him to throw to them. It seemed all kind of surreal (and still does). 1 Quote Link to comment
macroboy
Man...the RiledUppers are working overtime to get this agenda across! What is a RiledUpper? If it lasts more than 4 hours should I consult a physician? Quote Link to comment

Bowfin
I will have to say that on the one interception at Wisconsin where Armstrong just hauls back and heaves it as far as he can, I truly believe he didn't have a clue to where the ball was going and couldn't have cared less where it ended up. 1 Quote Link to comment
KazLong
I'm not saying it is true and I know it is a hell of an accusation but during the 4th quarter when TA seemed to be throwing perfect strikes to Iowa did it ever creep into your mind that he was doing it on purpose? EDIT: Damn, people. Lighten up a little bit. I didn't ask if you believed it. I asked if it crossed your mind. Big difference. Yes, I shouted stop shaving points arm-so-strong got a few laughs. Sometimes i swear he thinks hes supposed to throw it to guys in different colors. Like some sort of game and challenge. 1 Quote Link to comment

okaive
A couple people that were in the room with me stated they thought he was getting paid to throw the game. Quote Link to comment
HuskerCarter
Honestly, I believe it was just Tommy Armstrong trying to force a lot of his passes. Quote Link to comment
