Atbone95
Great, so our DLine must suck now. I'll head over to that thread shortly. 2 Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Jerald Foster and Tanner Farmer were the guards on the first-team line Saturday. That’s about what Husker fans and pundits projected at this point in their careers. It’s been a bit of a winding road for both, but, should they keep their starting spots, the 2014 offensive line recruiting class, which included Nick Gates, looks pretty terrific. As to the excellence of line play, I’ll defer to the season upcoming. Like parts of the defense, and Armstrong’s decision-making, the offensive line will just have to prove — first to coach Mike Cavanaugh and then to the millions of NU fans who love good line play like a well-broiled steak — that they can be solid. The Dude
Would love to see all 3 start the next 3 years. By the time they're gone 2016's good O-line recruiting class should be ready to roll. That's how you rebuild the pipeline. 3 Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Sophomore offensive guard Tanner Farmer earned unsolicited mentions from Riley and Langsdorf. Farmer's made a move this spring. OWH Quote Link to comment

The Dude
So Decker started over Utter? Quote Link to comment
theknife
Riley said in the presser Paul Thurston is transferring. Quote Link to comment
ColoradoHusk
So Decker started over Utter? I think Utter was injured today, that's why Decker played with the top linemen. With Thurston transferring, sounds like the competition will be between Utter and Decker. Decker was a pretty nice recruit coming out of Omaha North in 2015. Quote Link to comment
Mavric
OWH Spring Standouts Right guard Tanner Farmer: He lost more than 30 pounds in the offseason, took charge of the starting guard job and now appears poised to live up to the considerable recruiting hype he enjoyed coming to Nebraska. Left guard Jerald Foster: He probably should have played more last season, but Foster is now the starting left guard and a budding leader of the unit. He talks and carries himself with confidence.
