GSG
Source tells ESPN Big 12 'could be close to the end' THIS HEADLINE IS MISLEADING AS HELL. THE ARTICLE SAYS THEY COULD BE CLOSE TO DECIDING ON EXPANSION. THEY HAVE A MEETING SET FOR OCTOBER 17TH TO MAKE EXPANSION DECISIONS. Quote Link to comment

WoodyHayes1951
It's because Texas wants to add schools like Houston & SMU that won't grow the footprint, increase revenue, or anything good but it keeps everything put to a vote Texas-centric. I think Iowa State has also voiced their displeasure. Quote Link to comment

Bowfin
Texas still is coming to terms with Arkansas leaving the SWC, so they have a long ways to go before they get past Nebraska / Missouri / Colorado leaving. It will be impossible for them to ever come to grips with Texas A&M's exit, that has become an obsession with Longhorn supporters. (If A&M was a girlfriend, Texas would still be driving past their apartment late at night two years later to see if a car is parked out front and stalking Facebook.) Longhorns all believe that they are the best thing that ever happened to all of their ex-conference mates and that nobody will EVER EVARRH, get another recruit from Texas if they don't play Texas in whatever conference Texas happens to be blowing up at the time. mrandyk
Houston had a good win over Oklahoma, the lone remaining unbeaten team in Big 12 play. Trying to find the Big 12's best non-conference win.......it's between 5-3 Pitt, 4-4 BYU, and 3-5 Notre Dame. Zero non-conference wins over current top 25 teams. It looks like they don't have any non-conference wins over teams even receiving votes. Quote Link to comment
