Nebfanatic
What do asterisks denote? Picked to win, but not cover the spread got it thank you. If we could pull out the upset this would be the biggest husker win since? This win would be bigger than last year vs MSU, simply due to it being more meaningful for our season, however that was a big win. We beat a #9 MSU in 2011 that was a big game, followed by a #12 Penn State. Unfortunately we got blown out by Michigan that year. In 2010, we beat a #7 Missouri. I think otherwise, you have to go all the way back to 2001, beating a #2 Oklahoma. Those games you stated were big, but I honestly think you would have to go back to 01 just because with a win we are squarely in the national championship discussion. Those other wins were either earlier in the season or we had played ourselves out of title contention by that point. I doubt we win the CFP but a win Saturday would have us closer to a championship than we have been in 15 years Quote Link to comment

The MSU win was game 8 for us, with our only loss to that point against a #7 Wisconsin. We were in a pretty similar situation. However we sh#t the bed against Northwestern that year, then blown up by #20 Michigan(Denard Robinson at QB). Quote Link to comment
Landlord
It'd be the biggest win since 2001 Oklahoma, and it'd be the biggest road win since, honestly who has any clue? 1997 Washington? Even that didn't really have huge stakes. '95 Colorado? 1 Quote Link to comment

Forgot we would have had another shot at them though. Another difference between this year and 2011 is the remaining schedule. PSU and Michigan looming in 2011, this year we have two tough divisional matchups but minny nor Iowa has a Denard Robinson. We could easily slip up like we did against NW that year though. I'll agree though at the time the win over MSU was huge and we really won't know how big of a win this will be until seasons end. Could easily make the win relatively meaningless with a few bad losses down the stretch Quote Link to comment

They make these for every game, and they're always awesome. Between this type of image and those wonderful images on TV when they televise one of our games, (you know, where they show nothin but corn fields and cows), it's no wonder that everyone outside of Nebraska think that we are a simple minded state. Golly, sure is fine that we are are an agricultural state and all, but I recon we have enough smarts to know when we r bein made fun of. 1 Quote Link to comment
HuskerInLostWages
I can never bring myself to vote against Nebraska I hadn't until last game because I knew it would be close. I chose Wisconsin by 1 score and not beating the spread knowing how we have shown up against them the last few years(they are our Texas in the B1G it seems). This time i'm going with NU by 1 score. Saunders
FOX Sports, Stewart Mandel The Buckeyes aren’t blowing out anyone these days, so it’s hard to imagine them running the Huskers out of the stadium. But Ohio State’s defense won’t allow Nebraska QB Tommy Armstrong to get much going. Ohio State 23 - Nebraska 10 http://www.foxsports.com/college-football/gallery/college-football-odds-spreads-schedule-cfb-week-10-picks-mandel-110316 He also has Northwestern beating Wisconsin. swmohusker
Adam Carriker predicts a Husker W by the score of 24-23. That is the avg point production for the last 3 games (in regulation). Quote Link to comment

We shall win by one score, Urban Meyer will have a heart attack, retire from Ohio State and recover from his medical emergency on the Notre Dame sideline next season Quote Link to comment
