Lil' Red
I can't imagine that there is much interest in the press secretary position. Who would want to try to defend and explain all of Trump's decisions to the press? Link to comment
Danny Bateman
I can't imagine that there is much interest in the press secretary position. Who would want to try to defend and explain all of Trump's decisions to the press? FWIW, he had the spot filled by Jason Miller, who was his campaign spokesperson. But another Trump surrogate sent out a tweet or two about him being a baby daddy (he's married) and he resigned like two days later. Link to comment
BigRedBuster
Maybe he just isn't going to have a Press Secretary and he's just going to do everything through twitter himself. 1 Link to comment
QMany
When you refuse to hold any semblance of a press conference, why would you need a press secretary? Link to comment
BigRedBuster
When you refuse to hold any semblance of a press conference, why would you need a press secretary? Well, technically, the press secretary could hold the press conference and you could just do things that make his life miserable while he is doing so. Link to comment
Danny Bateman
#draintheswamp I'll just sit and wait while reactions roll in from all those good Republicans who were so up in arms about Clinton and quid pro quo. I assume they have similar concerns here... 1 Link to comment

NM11046
Hmmmmm ... one of the few respected officials on his transition team, one that had the experience and reputation to give sound advice. I see red flags waving all around this, at least he stepped away to save his name. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/powerpost/wp/2017/01/05/former-cia-director-james-woolsey-quits-trump-transition-team/?hpid=hp_hp-top-table-main_pp-woolsey745p%3Ahomepage%2Fstory&utm_term=.967edd13ac7c Link to comment
NM11046
So why would the GOP insist on pushing through these folks without proper vetting? Seriously, I don't get why they're willing to take this sort of risk. https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/ethics-official-warns-against-confirmations-before-reviews-are-complete/2017/01/07/e85a97ee-d348-11e6-9cb0-54ab630851e8_story.html?hpid=hp_hp-top-table-main_hearings358pm%3Ahomepage%2Fstory&utm_term=.523799fed1e5 Link to comment
