melscott62
Hopefully he cleans things up. At this level of you aren't working you will be passed. The only way he will stay ahead/even with Tre is outworking him. Quote Link to comment
krc1995
battling immature egos is why these coaches get paid $. I don't envy them though Quote Link to comment
Atbone95
He was upset they were bringing him back too quickly or not quickly enough? Not quickly enough. Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Apparently still in the doghouse. 2 Quote Link to comment
84HuskerLaw
Ozigbo still in the doghouse. Grades? Insubordination? Who knows but clearly we've lost the 'power' running we had last year without Cross and Zig. Newby runs 'hard' sometimes but just gets nothing way too often. Those 1 yard and 'no gain' runs just kill us. The force us to throw too much as we really have little hope of running 3 times for a first down very often. Of course we don't play the FB enough to really know if we can 'force' things at all. You just have no power without a second RB back there to fake to or lead block. Of course Tommy is hobbled today as well. Quote Link to comment
The Real T-Magic
Devine Ozigbo was healthy, but didn’t play. Why? “He knows what those reasons are,” Reggie Davis said. “I think he’ll be ready this week.” Rumor has it that Riley was pissed because Ozigbo voted for Trump. Of course, that's just the scuttlebutt. : Man, if this is true that'd be a bull move by Riley. PETTY. Quote Link to comment
Danimal
I've given-up on even trying to figure our rb-rotation out at this point. Quote Link to comment
zoogs
NUance was joking, obviously. Doghouse is the wrong term here. The coaches were pretty upfront about it: Tre has emerged as the #2 back. Simple as that. Wilbon seems to be used in a certain package of plays and Tre just grabbed the #2 role completely in Ozigbo's injury absence. Later in the game we saw him some today; I believe it may have had something to do with Newby getting dinged. Quote Link to comment
