Several positives:

 

1.  The "Second thought was they ate too much" (very funny, he's at home with his buddies)

2.  The "I hope they have to adjust to us..." (man has some moxy)

3.  "We aren't going to win every game......"   (This was the most comforting and honest answer he gave as far as I'm concerned.)

 

I'm glad he conceded to #3 out loud.  And the fact that he added Nebraska would be respected even in a loss.  But it was good to get a reminder that traditionally Nebraska has been a winning program, but even in the years they weren't they were respected.  They weren't respected because Tom Osborne was a "neat guy", they were respected because they played their asses off!  I think Frost pretty much said today that "hey, we have some growing to do.  But while we are reaching up, we are going to throw some upper cuts."  

 

I'm pumped!

That stood out to me the most.  The fact that he said it and it seemed more directed at the fan base.  Asking us to be patient and to take pride in the team.  I liked that very much.

Other than a couple zinging one-liners, this might have been my favorite comment from the presser.  For sure the most practical.  It will be interesting to see how they go about this.

I think with number 3 what he met was that in the spring game one husker team will lose.
