Statistically speaking, yes. But there's been a lot of the same glaring issues every game and they don't appear to be going away. I'm specifically speaking about stuff like "I'm going to work on it and get better." Same thing every week. As an example, dude has a massive overthrow problem this year and it's shown up for 4 weeks in a row now. Hard to get the offense going when your stud plays more like a dud. 1 1 Quote Link to comment

I agree. I also have seen plenty of throws really low at people's feet too. You cant blame it all on the center. I understand it can mess up timing so maybe you miss your first read on a quick slant or something if your late getting the ball and getting set. But it doesnt explain all the bad passes and missing other guys who are open. 1 Quote Link to comment
roadrat
I feel like Adrian Martinez is being a good teammate and shouldering a lot of the responsibility when in fact he has a center who can't snap the ball back to him in the shotgun and an offensive line that is not good. Dam near every snap Saturday night Adrian was running for his life back there. If Fields played behind our offensive he wouldn't be able to do anything either. 3 Quote Link to comment

I'll agree it's not all his fault and the o-line isn't doing him any favors but as @huskers93-97 said, you can't blame it all on the center/line. At some point, Martinez has to make the throws and he's not doing that nearly well enough IMO. Quote Link to comment

Not last night, but Martinez has had time and missed throws for sure this season. I'm in the middle on this one. We definitely have alot of other issues on offense but Adrian is not playing his best football right now I think that is pretty apparent. I believe he will get right but I say the blame can be equally shared over the course of the game. Some plays its on one position group, some plays its on another. Walters saying everything needs to work in concert comes to mind. When everyone does their job we move the ball but its musical chairs on who isn't executing bad play to bad play. 1 Quote Link to comment

I would agree, Adrian has looked off all season. He's been really indecisive with the football. Quote Link to comment
