FrustratedHusker
Born and raised in SW Nebraska I have been a fan my entire life. And I know, it is very easy to be an armchair coach but frankly I have just about had it with the Adrian Martinez show. He is just not mature enough to run our offense. He is too impulsive, makes poor decisions under pressure and is scared to use his legs often enough. While I'll admit most offensive rolls are thankless but when you are the QB you MUST be more relaxed and in control. Don't get me wrong I could NOT do it better. However I feel Noah Vedral has more than proved himself and should be out there at least half of every game if for no other reason that to keep the defense guessing. It's okay, I'll say it. I'll be a fan for life but I am tried of being the silent frustrated majority. Trolls, take over. Quote Link to comment

Even with his struggles he's still bounds better in these regards than Taylor Martinez was, and nobody had this kind of criticism for Taylor. Your own expectations based off how good he was last year are what are making you throw him under the bus now. 2 Quote Link to comment

I have never spoken up, thus the, I'll be a fan for life but I am tried of being the silent frustrated majority. I felt the same way last year, two years ago, all the way through to 97. Trust me this is in my blood but I just felt it was time someone said something. I do not understand the love affair with AM. Give him another year. He has skills, he just needs to calm down and let them come out. And please do not get me started on the rest of the team. Every position needs improvement. There are some very bright bulbs to be sure. Wan'Dale Robinson, J.D. Spielman, Kahlil Davis, and yes even Adrian when he settles down. Thanks for your reply. Go Big Red Quote Link to comment
Landlord
You felt the same way about Adrian Martinez back in 1997? 1 Quote Link to comment

I am countering that by saying I have felt silently frustrated about the entire situation for years. And this is part of the reason. People do not take what you say in general. Everyone wants to slice and dice to make themselves sound correct. To be fair I did invite Trolls to take over. Quote Link to comment

lowkeyhusker
Verdral, Luke, Logan Smothers... Hate to think about it but AM might be a transfer and then be really good somewhere else to the NFL Quote Link to comment

Close to or 500 yards offense. Uptempo and crisp. Multiple recevers and players involved. Quick reads and then run.... Best the O has looked all seaosn IMHO. (slowed up when Noah went out) hmm, but missing the easy passes and running sideways instead of North and South. Flushes too easily. Again I cannot do better... but I have seen it, even from AM himself. He has moments of greatness. Oh and ya, the offense always puts up good stats against a non-defense. However we allow them to score too many points and the results speak for themselves. Not hating people... just frustrated. And I have been around a while. I have listened or watched since I as 2 years old. And trust me that is a LONNNNNG time. lol and btw... I know Scott can get the program back to contention and maybe even eventually another championship. But when you face teams with such talent and depth like any of the current top 5 you will have a tough uphill row to hoe. Recruiting and fundamentals are and always will be the keys to success. Open field tackling for instance.... Wrap arms and lock wrists gentlemen, wrap arms and lock wrists. Quote Link to comment

Today, not so much....AM is nothing like last season... Quote Link to comment

As far as Smothers, he's from Alabama and neither 'bama nor Auburn are looking at him last I looked. Let's stop acting like some recruits or freshmen are going to turn this program around anytime soon. Quote Link to comment
