I don’t think Frost can go another year with AM at QB1. Bring in Milton. Show that he isn’t afraid to make changes. Hell he put Luke in there and we all know he’s not capable as well. Smothers maybe. but give him a year to watch Milton. Frost needs to win next year. I he has to bring in his old Qb

Hope he means Luke is the future at another position. Being brutally honest... If I were Smothers, Haarberg, Fidone or any other receivers recruited.. I would look at that portal real hard or commit elsewhere.

Why is it hard for us to find a good QB? I would take a QB like Brandon Peters in a heart beat. Poised, accurate passes, and mobile enough on his feet. Honestly, I love the character of Verduzco but something is telling me he isn't able to coach and mold these QBs

Say AM & LM are not the answer at QB.. has anyone followed Logan Smothers? How does he compare skill set wise to them? I know he way was highly recruited but i hope he is not just another freak athlete that can kinda throw a ball. From some tape I’ve seen, Haarberg looks like he is a legit passer.

Surprised there's been no talks of Jackson Hannah. I remember a lot of people being really high on him as a recruit.

Yikes lol shows that some fans are a little behind in the times. There are many benefits to these videos. Here's just one.. - The players are able to repost & share these to their network of friends who could be potential recruits. Recruits see the culture, teamwork, brotherhood, etc.. This is a great way to show what it's all about. If we didn't have these we would be imagining what exactly is going on. I think this is a great look for the University.

Sorry this analyst & coach thing is confusing for me. From what I read.. "The difference between an Analyst and a Coach is that the Analyst cannot actually be coaching on the field or during competition but can watch workouts. They cannot go out and recruit either." Does this mean someone on the staff will still need to take the lead and be the ST "coach" still?

What hurt the most is when the camera went to Frost on our final drive and he looked like he had no idea what to do. He had No energy. No emotion. You have a chance to win this game or at least go to over time. You got 2 chances to win this! I wanna see him put it all on the line for these kids especially for the seniors to possibly end their college playing careers at a bowl game. I saw Held trying to fire players up. I need that from the HC. If i’m a player and I see my HC show some emotion i’m going to battle for him. Bo Pelini’s fire and over the top antics don’t seem as crazy now.. I want to keep believing Frost is the man for the job, but right now he’s as soft as Mike Riley. Being nice can only get you so far.

Agreed. In my mind, most of the kids play college ball to get to the next level and get to the league. Is Luke a NFL caliber QB?.. maybe with how the league is changing with Mahomes and Jackson who knows... we'll have to see. I said this maybe in this thread or another but if AM is the starter next year and wins QB1 by being the better QB with no politics.. we need to find a way to use Luke like the Saints use Taysom Hill. Hopefully, Luke isn't married to being QB to possibly be like his dad as receiver in the NFL

Best case scenario imo.. AM transfers and finds a system that is better for him. Luke becomes the starter with Smothers waiting to take the reigns. Maybe have Mckenzie Milton transfer to help the QB room somehow? If AM continues to be the starter could Luke transfer?

Honest question.. what is AM good at to keep him in the game? and why can’t Frost admit that AM is a$$?

If Frost for some reason starts AM next season probably cause he knows how to control the snaps from Jurgens. He needs to watch how the Saints use Taysom Hill and use Luke the same way.

the coaching blows my mind. you play vedral cause it seems you trust his arm more than AM. You put Luke in cause he’s a playmaker and can run MUCH better. So what is AM good at to keep him in the game?

I agree. Don't get me wrong I love nice people. Nice coaches and players. Sometimes I miss the intensity of Pelini. Frost is as timid as Riley. It was nice to see him rip Davis on the sidelines for being a dummy. Sometimes a "we'll get them on the next drive, son" and pat on the back only goes so far As far as players, Garrett Nelson's energy is unmatched. It needs to be contagious. He's a psycho. I wish AM had a little more swagger to him. Last season vs Iowa. The TD run and shimmy in the face and Morgan Jr. had to pull him off .. I loved it! Not saying he has to be a Baker Mayfield or Johnny Manziel but I want some type of confidence and edge and not like he just took a bong rip to the dome.
