Mavric
Quote As part of the first wave, the NCAA Board of Directors is expected to review proposals Thursday that would implement windows in the transfer portal, as well as an overhaul of the NCAA infractions process. In the new transfer portal with windows, players must enter the portal only during designated windows in order to use the one-time transfer exception and be immediately eligible at their new school. The new infractions process is expected to expedite investigations and hold coaches more accountable for violations. If the board approves the measures as expected, the concepts would be finalized in July and adopted in August. SI 1 Quote Link to comment
Hilltop
This makes sense to me. Hopefully that discourages guys who just lost a QB battle from bailing after fall camp. 2 Quote Link to comment
sho
and now the potential to have unlimited transfers available to the athlete. If it wasn't already wild enough with all the portal news. We could have a player hit the transfer portal after bowl season, go through spring practice and decide nope and hit the portal again after the semester. 1 1 Quote Link to comment

I believe the one time transfer rule still applies, so if they did that the 2nd one they would have to sit a year. Quote Link to comment

But, there isn't a rule that prohibits transferring more than once. A guy can transfer more than once, he just then needs to sit out a year. Quote Link to comment

This will allow unlimited portal transfer w/no penalty, no sitting out a year, no having to go down a division to be eligible etc. 1 Quote Link to comment
