  1. I'm fine with Imani carrying us through the 4th, as long as he keeps two hands on the ball.
  2. You sir, are going for all the marbles, aren't ya?
  3. I can listen to Ed Cunningham, as long as he isn't talking about Nebraska.
  4. Interceptions or fumbles, I'll take them.
  5. Just thought I would share this. http://www.answers.com/article/1181337/10-most-loyal-college-football-fan-bases?param4=fb-us-de-sports&utm_medium=referral&utm_content=ssde-all#slide=2
  6. Eliminate the offensive turnovers and they don't put up 31 points on us. That's a huge difference those turnovers. And If they actually scored points after the Santos INT, it would have been more than 41 points for us. The only thing that concerns me about our defense, is how many yards we give up on the pass. Our run defense, isn't great, but its dependable, just needs more consistency. Giving up 350 yds passing to a true freshman QB, unacceptable.
  7. Roach has had some injuries, in fact didn't he have a season ending injury in fall camp last year? Or was that Wullenwaber?
  8. That I'll wait until all of the "What Did We Learn" threads have been created before I make a legit response.
  9. Would love to see Indiana win this game. To beat a ranked SEC team, on the road. HUGE.

  10. Offense - Kenny Bell/Ameer Abdullah Defense - McMullen/Gerry Special Teams - Brown/DPE
  11. Watching the Iowa/Pitt game, I can tell Cross should have a big day when we go to Iowa City.

  12. I guess we won't be talking about Suh or any other former players in the Nebraska Husker forums. To some, Once a Husker, Always a Husker, doesn't apply.
  13. you have to ask yourself, would Taylor Martinez have been more effective in the offense than Zac Lee?
  14. I thought the first half was okay. I didn't like the stall out offense that had to settle for field goal attempts after a quick 14 - 0 lead in the first 5 minutes of the game. I also didn't like the 162 passing yards that Fresno St. earned in the 1st half. But I was happy with the adjustment as they held them to only 12 yds in the 3rd quarter. Couple of great plays on special teams, and some boneheaded plays too. Jake Cotton is well on pace to become the most penalized Offensive Lineman for the Huskers, not good considering he is a captain. I know folks want to see Abdullah get the ball, a lot. But I understand there is a process to wear down a defense that acknowledges that he is a threat and the best option to that is stuff the box and blitz. Tim Beck called a semi-good game in mixing plays up to utilize both the short and long pass to catch Fresno St. defense off guard and make them play more zone and conservative with the pass, rather than stopping the run. TA still needs work on accuracy, something that I feel folks are going to ignore until one day it costs us a major game. Offensive line still needs work, waiting for the day they start knocking guys off the line scrimmage and putting defensive lineman into the dirt. Also one question that I hope someone can answer. Was the 62yd run by Imani Cross his longest?
  15. I like what I see with TA dissecting this defense when they blitz and using the short yardage pass to pick them apart and make them respect the short pass and then go right to the run to take advantage of them not blitzing.
  16. How's that for special teams?

  17. I think Beck is trying to get Fresno St. to respect the pass and stop blitzing so much.

  18. Aaron Taylor - "This could be the start of another Nebraska meltdown on the road" GET HIS ASS OFF THE AIR AND FIND ANOTHER COMMENTATOR

  19. I'm beginning to buy into the notion that a move to the Big Ten was not a good idea

It is the most awful conference in the FBS.

  20. How funny would it have been if that was Johnny Manziel on the receiving end of that kick from Brown?
