  1. It depends how many pictures there are.
  2. This is my first time listening to Volleyball on the radio (online). Our play by play guy does a great job.
  3. Good lord Jim Jordan is a moron and a piece of $hit in so many ways.
  4. Yeah, I agree with your premise and was not trying to argue. This sounds like a great hybrid model that we should aspire to.
  5. What you are describing here is not insurance at all. Insurance coverage and premiums are based on risk. To get to the model of healthcare that you are envisioning, we would have to ditch the current insurance model altogether, which would not be a bad thing, it would just be radically different than what we are used to.
  6. I'm no expert on handguns or tasers, but every police officer I have ever met has their gun and their tasers or any other equipment on completely different parts of their uniforms. Tasers and guns don't look the same, and I imagine they don't feel the same, either. I simply can't fathom not being able to tell the difference, especially for a trained officer.
  7. Consent doesn't necessarily have to be verbal, but consent must be given. Non-consensual sexual activity is literally the definition of sexual assault. This is nothing new. Tell your friend that I have had a lot of consensual sex but I have never raped anyone.
  8. Um...you literally just said "if the girl is going to claim rape it seems like she should have said "no"
  9. The absence of a "no" is not the same thing as "yes."
  10. This statement has been the Republican platform since about 2009, right?
  11. Highly touted recruits and transfers that can't get on the field, huh?
  12. That's exactly what football has been doing to us the last few years anyway, without the virus.
  13. Maybe I haven't read the thread closely enough, but if @DevoHusker and @Archy1221 are downplaying the importance of criminalizing the handing out of water, passing it off as a trivial issue and such, and knowing that it is already illegal to give food, water, or other gifts in an effort to influence one's vote, then why was this part of the law necessary in the first place? Pushing unnecessary legislation is certainly not a conservative value, and then defending it so vociferously seems odd if it is truly not a big deal. So what's the motivation for this?
  14. What a bunch of dumb mother f**kers: Alabama upholds a ban on yoga in school citing fears of the practice spreading Hinduism At issue is whether the practice of yoga promotes Hinduism - a claim several conservative Christian groups say is a problem. "If this bill passes, then instructors will be able to come into classrooms as young as kindergarten and bring these children through guided imagery, which is a spiritual exercise, and it's outside their parents' view. And we just believe that this is not appropriate," Betsy Garrison of the Eagle Forum of Alabama, argued in session. Gray's proposal still included language seeking to address that. It said that "chanting, mantras, mudras, use of mandalas, and 11 namaste greetings shall be expressly prohibited."
  15. Maybe Biden should call up Fox and Friends every time he gets a burr up his a$$ about something.
  16. Is this the same Terry Wilson that was a one-time Nebraska commit, but Frost recruited him to Oregon, right before Frost left for UCF?
  17. and get a job at Chick Fil A... (who gets that reference?)
  18. Disagreeing doesn't make you ignorant. Poorly structured arguments and lack of evidence, on the other hand...
  19. We need to stop recruiting so many kids who are less than 21. Way too immature.
  20. Can you give an example of when "racist things happen for real?" You have been presented with examples of racism (specifically Trump) on this board several times and simply deny them. It seems in your world racist things never happen for real.
  21. So when do we start doing that?
  22. You know...if this was all really just overreaction and misunderstanding...it makes the AD's response that much more confusing. Let's say it really was much ado about nothing, it was still a very damaging rumor that the AD was aware of and did not get in front of. If Moos/Frost had put out a statement that someone had mistakenly reported off the wall ideas that had been tossed about in a brainstorming session, but they were never seriously considering cancelling the OU game, I would have been willing to accept that answer, and a lot of other folks would have as well. However, the rumor festered all day long, and when the AD finally did release a tepid statement, it lent credibility to the original report. And we haven't heard anything else since, including no info from Frost at all. Now we are hearing rumors that Frost, Moos, and the department are not on the same page. Everything about this makes NU look bad. And it seems that when we see this sort of discord (even if it is a rumor) between coaches and ADs, it ends badly 100% of the time. And problems at the top trickle down.
