  1. I'm calling BS. In Leach's first 2 years there, he had the same number of wins as the last coach who had a 4 year stint (9 wins). Wazzou hadn't had a winning season since 2003 and he took them to a bowl game in his second season. Wazzou had only been to 10 bowl games in it's entire history as a program before Leach took over.
  2. NW only scored 17 in regulation. The game went to 3 OTs.
  3. I was arguing that a bad year wasn't a anomaly, not a winless one. Not a dumpster fire but not all sunshine and daisies either.
  4. Get a white t-shirt and with a permanent marker write a big #15 on the front. Either your coworkers will ask you what it means giving you ample opportunities to gloat or you can walk around the office with a big dumb smile without having to say a word.
  5. Under O'Leary they had 5 losing seasons and 7 8+ win seasons. So I wouldn't call that drop off an anomaly.
  6. Don't have a video but there was another play where they blitz the OLB over Gates and drop the DT over Foster. We kept an extra guy in protection, Foster slides to his right and we end up with Gates trying to block 2 guys and our five other blockers blocking 2 guys.
  7. Our 3 conference wins are against the only 3 teams that have yet to score over 100 points in conference play in 5 games. That's not a coincidence.
  8. Subbing with a running clock. We should hire Flava Flav as a clock management coordinator. It's like this staff is trying to lose games.
  9. Humphrey St. Francis. My senior year they were our first game of the season. First game was cancelled because the other team only had 9 kids. It was their homecoming game in an absolute downpour. I remember their starting end lining up and saying "We'll take it easy on you guys." We only had 11 kids.
  10. Outside of QB and LB, I disagree. Even then the depth at QB has me concerned. What do you think will change in the last 5 games?
  11. I read it as he would only want to send his kids to coaches he is comfortable with. Essentially saying if we fire Riley we lose that connection and have to build it back up or hire a coach he is comfortable with, not that it would be gone forever.
  12. Frost had 2 years of experience of being a paid coach prior to Oregon. That was at FCS Northern Iowa. I'm sure he didn't have a lot of inroads to the west coast at the time he moved to Oregon. Building relationships with HS coaches is a big part of recruiting. Oregon never really was a powerhouse when it came to recruiting. Non-P5 schools don't typically get 4* recruits. The only example I can think of is Houston when Herman was there. IMO there's no way Frost goes to Tennessee. If recruiting is that big of a deal to him and Nebraska is out, I'd imagine he waits for a Florida/UCLA/USC type job to open up.
  13. Wittingham is Mormon. No way he leaves Utah. Niumatalo is also Mormon and turned down the BYU job and a chance to coach his 2 sons. Don't see that happening. Harsin was born in Boise and is an alum there. I don't see him leaving his home and that job security unless money plays a big factor.
  14. For now. Excessive? Yes. Irrational? No.
  15. Kevin Maurice for sure. You could argue Collins, Gerry, and Bando.
  16. It was late 2014. Frost had only been an OC for 2 years at that point. Hindsights 20/20 and all but he needed head coaching experience.
  17. Mav and Matty getting along? Pinch me I'm dreaming.
