    How does it look to recruits and their families when a head coach and a player are yelling at each other on national television? Bo's yelling is not helping in any way. Callahan proved you can recruit here, but not when your coach is having strokes and acting like an idiot on national television.

    I've heard many pro athletes say naps help them perform better. Not sure why people are making fun of it. It seems strange that they would need a nap before a 2 o'clock game though.

    That is a fair statement, but Northwestern is better this year than the team that beat Nebraska in Lincoln last year. Northwestern's offense and defense are both streaky, but both capable of being really good at times. I do not see Nebraska holding them under 30 points, so Martinez will need to be efficient.

    I say 42-31 Nebraska wins. NW could win if Kain plays QB the whole game, but he has only been playing QB for about half of each game.

    I believe Nebraska was the last team to win a BCS championship wearing Adidas. Nike has taken over since then. I would like to see Nebraska wearing the most popular brand. When is the Adidas contract up?

      He seems to get the most of his teams often with less athletes. His teams are always well prepared to play. If we are going to lose recruiting wars, then Peterson may be our equalizer. I can see why a lot like him as a great fit here.

    Which performance by Martinez was worse? 2011 wisconsin: passing 11/22 176 yds. 3 int. Rushing: 61 yds 1 TD Turnovers: 3 2012 Ohio State: passing 15/25 214 yds. 1 td, 3int Rushing 40 yds, 2 TD. 2 fumbles. Turnovers: 4 Not seeing much improvement.

    Martinez should have 5 turnovers if you count that fumble in the 2nd Qtr.

    they are winning by 18 and martinez has 3 picks. do the math? The defense has no chance of improving beyond mediocre, but Martinez can not make stupid throws and throw the ball away instead of taking 12 yard losses.

    I'm not sure there is anyone better on the roster, but every year there are 3 or 4 games where Martinez implodes. The D is the worst pelini has had, so there is no room this year for stupid throws. I think this will be the year where the Pelini era takes a downhill turn. Nebraska will only win 8 games this year, and he will be on the hot seat next year. I don't see how the defense gets better next year with Compton, Stafford, Martin, Smith, and Stein all leaving. Another 8 win year after this year, and he could be ousted by the new A.D. We all thought Pelini was a defensive genious, but it is not too hard when your D is full of NFL talent.

    Rome has said more positive things about Nebraska than every espn host combined. I believe Rome has over 5 million listeners a day. Nebraska really needs to find a way to thank him for his support the last 10 years.
