I remember a thread this off-season where someone had a poll asking about that. I'm pretty sure I said he wouldn't even come close because he wasn't good enough. He has fumbled a lot less this year, but still lacks that extra gear. I might have to eat a lot of crow about him, because I didn't think that highly of him coming into this year. Still think with a HEALTHY Taylor, he probably isn't around 1500 though.

Great call????? Targeting a players has a LITTLE to do with helmet contact. The fact he hit the guy in the neck region with his shoulder, launching at the guy at that, makes that targeting. Hitting a player above the shoulders = targeting.

ALL THE TURNOVERS ARE UNACCEPTABLE THE KING. I referenced this because this has been a lot of people's statements over the last few weeks on Armstrong. ONE TA turnover was due to him being a Freshman this game, the INT, the fumble was complete negligence.

I wouldn't call it a rivalry... yet. There are just so many rivalries and traditions already set in the B1G. I don't want to be that team like Colorado, where your their rival, but they aren't yours lol.

We have to be aggressive on defense, don't play scared. Offensively we have to stick to what works. Typically that means the run game, but that doesn't mean this game will be typical. Quite opposite actually. Michigan may sell out and force us to throw. It will be how we approach the passing game that decides the outcome.

If Beck uses Tommy as a straight drop pocket passer, it could be bad. If he uses PA and/or rolls Tommy out into the flat, uses our TE on short out routes, or short WR routes we will be good. Play to your QBs strengths Beck!

If we stick to the run game, and use play action when needed, I think we will do well offensively. This also means us using Newby and Cross more, while some Janovich (unexpected rusher). If its working, stay with it, don't force yourself to have to come out and run 3 passing plays in a row. We come out and run on the first play so many times, I wouldn't mind seeing a long bomb on the first play of the game, to make their defense adjust.
