I thought Tai showed flashes last year. Did okay for a frosh it seemed like. Agree. I think the fast pace of the game really threw him off last year. Hopefully with a season under his belt, plus an off-season of training with Pettaway, we will see a much improved player in Tai next year. I really don't see many players transferring if this team is truly headed in the direction we all think (and hope) it is heading.

One of Tim Beck's biggest downfalls is if it isn't working, keep doing it. I don't know how many times the last couple seasons we run that damn WR screen play relentlessly. It hardly works, yet we just keep running it. It's basically Tim Beck's go to play when nothing is working. I get that we were trying to spread the field out and make them dial back the blitz but they were ready for it every. single. time. Like others have said, run some play action, diamond formation or something else. When the play doesn't work the first few times, that should be the end of it unless you're going to throw it in once, maybe twice, randomly later in the game try to catch the defense off guard.

Who hates Tommy? Tommy seems like a great kid, i like him. I root for him cuz he's our QB.He just isn't great. Hes an almost average, somewhat serviceable QB, doesn't mean he isn't likable. You've already openly admitted you're trolling in response to people being critical of Pelini and Martinez. I don't think many people are going to buy this schtick.I'm not trolling a bit. I'm just using the same criteria that we used the past few years to judge QB play. And you weren't watching the game with me Saturday, while i was cheering him on. And this had little to do with Pelini, other than some demand championships this year, even tough we have below average play from the QB position I guess I'm curious as to what you consider "average" and "above average"? I would hate to be a QB judged by your standards. I have my own personal criticisms of Tommy, pretty much all of which I think are teachable and we will start to see less and less of the more Tommy plays. One of my biggest criticisms is him not going through his check downs and just staring receivers down but overall I've been pretty happy with his play. Say you don't watch any of the games and are coming purely from a numbers standpoint, is Tommy still "below average"?

This is what I was thinking as wellI think the reality is, he is just not a superstar...He is just what he is, average.He's literally Sean Fisher right now, great athlete with supposed huge amounts of potential but seems lost on the field and makes him play slow. Hopefully Bando can figure it out better and faster than fisher did, don't want another in-state super star to turn out to be average to below average. I will take Bando over Fisher any day. Fisher was a smart player but he was anything but fast, which was his biggest downfall. Bando still has some learning to do but speed wise he is miles ahead of where Fisher ever was.

I disagree. Granted, they haven't really played anyone yet but Oklahoma looks like an all around pretty solid team right now. Plus the fact that Trevor Knight looks like he could be a good one. Time will tell.

I have the 4S and downloaded it last night...I immediately regretted it. Minimal changes, that drastically slow down the phone, reduces app functionality and drain battery life. Just another apple software upgrade for them to try and get you to buy a new phone because your old one can't handle it. You'd think I'd learn one of these times.

Left this part out - Also selling our current home and getting rid of our current mortgage payment to put that towards savings as well. We try to be responsible in order to leave Griff with a good situation once we're dead. Wow. Great thinking. Don't make it TOO nice of a situation or he may start to get ideas... Won't the "profit" you make from selling your home get crushed by taxes if it is not re-invested in another home? Or am I totally off on that... Either way, I love the idea I was fortunate enough to have parents that own a lakehouse growing up and I've had some of the best times of my life out there. I would highly recommend purchasing this, especially from the monetary standpoint that you mentioned. As to Teach's question, you have to have a $250,000 gain or more if you're single and a $500,000 gain or more if you're married to pay capital gains taxes on the sale of a home, so I think you'll be alright

Problem with that is they are already concerned about the show getting ahead of the book. The possibility of the show ending before the ending in the books is even written, is already being discussed. Unless you are talking about just drawing the episodes out more to be able create more episodes, in which case I agree as long as it doesn't affect the quality of the episodes by adding in too much pointless filler crap.
