  1. I shouldn't have expanded that tweet.
  2. Finished Castle Rock on Hulu last night. If you like Stephen King movies/books, you'll love this show. Great pacing, good story and a nice ending to set up season 2.
  3. the person who 'liked' the above comment with 'I'm confused' instead of a +1
  4. Yes, the school shooting was his kid, if I remember correctly. i watched 2 episodes he was in and I couldn't watch a third and just stopped. http://sonsofanarchy.wikia.com/wiki/Arcadio_Nerona Edit: Wasn't his kid, it was his GF's kid per the link.
  5. Welp, so more options just opened up for a bye week opponent thanks to the hurricane. Both the NC State and UNC games were cancelled. Just a quick cursory look, one of the 4 teams impacted also has a bye 10/27. Since they were playing at NC St, maybe they wouldn't mind playing a road game at Lincoln that day?? How fun would it be to get UCF up here for that game??
  6. Since Frost has said he's only really discussing season ending injuries, if this isn't season ending, how much do you think Frost will say? Will he go all Bo and say 'he's fine, a little banged up and we'll take it day to day' and AM has a torn MCL and misses 4-6 weeks? Giving fans and media nothing but speculation as we keep waiting for when he will be back? Or do you think Frost will say the true extent of the injury and time frame, if any, that AM will miss?
  7. I have that same feeling with Netflix shows. Like how Hulu does it, with shows like Castle Rock. Release 3 and then go weekly. For Netflix shows, we usually try to only watch one episode a night of the shows we watch.
  8. How was Mayans MC? I lost interest in SOA during Dave Navarro's season and the school shooting. Dave is such a horrible actor, I just couldn't watch it anymore.
  9. Will this be on Fox? Will this be on Breitbart? If no, then majority of trump voters won't know about this.
  10. The only thing I can think of is maybe the team should see the official depth chart that was released after all the position battles had been sorted as best they could before the media sees it? The team finds out all positions and isn't finding things out through the media? it's a stretch, but that's all I can come up with.
  11. I did, based on your advice. You are correct, this is a great movie. I highly recommend watching this. Now I want to get the book and see what was cut out.
  12. Does this fall under Title IX? Can the feds investigate this, and not just rely on OSU's version of events? If so, then I think things get a heck of a lot stickier for the Meyer's family and a lot of the coaches on that staff.
  13. I could see the first two being incorporated
  14. Only way is if he transfers to a school on our future schedule.
  15. No, I'm not saying voters are educated, in fact far too many are disgracefully uneducated when it comes to who and what they vote for. And I agree, it doesn't matter if they think he's racist. His approval is growing, based on all the polls, within that ethnicity. The question that is not answered from the polls I've seen is 'why'? It could be from something he's done, or it could be something as stupid and trivial as Kanye supporting him. Lastly, it doesn't dispel the belief that he's not racist, while I agree it's hard to make sense why a person would support a racist, but then the concern of the uneducated voter comes into mind and do they really understand and know the things trump has done to lead many to believe he is racist.
  16. They key is do they actually know his history and know what he is doing now? Just because the number has gone up some marginal %, doesn't mean the change is based on 'educated' voters on who Trump is and what he stands for. Nor, do we know how the questions where asked. Could the questions on his approval be confusing for those answering the survey? A lot still goes into question without knowing all the info. It really doesn't prove that he's NOT racist because his approval ratings have gone up, it requires additional research. And the fact is valid, it doesn't matter if they think he is or not if his approval rating with that segment is going up, which all the polls are showing, it's just a matter of how much and why now.
  17. https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/multiple-women-were-rejected-from-jobs-because-of-their-ghetto-names_us_5b757be4e4b0df9b093cdd40 The company claims they were hacked, at the bottom of the article that is being denied as well.
  18. Should black business owners be allowed to refuse service to KKK members? Can a Jewish run business refuse service to a Nazi group that promotes race segregation? Should a LGBTQ+ business be forced to do business with Westboro Baptist Church, if the church demanded they do business with them? As long as they are not violating any of your 4 bullet points, should these types of business be forced to do business with groups that want to eliminate them? What happens if doing business with a small subset of the population makes you so unpopular that majority of your business no longer wants you? Should a business be forced to lose current customers to accommodate a subset that will harm the business reputation? Personally, I say no. Business has the right to refuse service to anyone they deem. If it's too large of a subset of the population, they won't have a thriving business to worry about.
  19. While we are at it, the Pope has usually been fairly quick to comment on sociopolitical issues lately. I do not like that he has been so quiet about this. I would have liked to have seen him condemn the actions and the cover-ups right away and have the Church be more pro-active going forward to prevent this type of behavior. He's got a strong voice, he needs to be using it now during this crisis.
  20. And not only do they continue to investigate, I hope every single pedo gets sent to max security prison and is in gen pop. I also hope that every one that helped conceal and cover this up gets sent to the prison as well.
  21. I think they have the right to do so, yes. Whether or not they feel that is worth it, is there choice. They have clearly drawn a line in the sand on sexuality, and that is there choice and belief, and they have the right to do so. And for the record, through the 13 years of Christian schooling, I can remember exactly zero incidents where a teacher took the Lord's name in vain.
  22. Swearing as a whole doesn't break a commandment. Taking the Lord's name in vain does, but there are plenty of swear words that are "fine". And out of the 10 commandments, all would be fireable offenses for the Christian school, in my opinion, some would be a fireable offenses period. Others are harder to 'prove' coveting things/people, unless you are a stalker. Taking the Lord's name in vain has been diminished, but I can remember getting detentions for saying 'God' or 'JC' etc in school. As for firing sinners, Christians understand no one is perfect, and the goal is to make amends for mistakes, in the Christian viewpoint, living an openly gay lifestyle is not taking amends for 'choices' they view as sins.
