Lost my Dad yesterday. He was 82 and boy did he love sports. Most of our conversations were about the Huskers and the Mo. Tigers. Dad always liked to watch women's college basketball because he said they still played Team Ball. He will be missed.

Nothing like a fun trip to the ER today. Started having chest pains last night when I went to bed last night, and they got worse today around lunch. Was basically pushed to the ER by my boss/wife, but tests came back fine. I'm only 33, I exercise a ton, and am pretty damn healthy, so it was weird. Doc was a bit confused, and said it was "chest wall inflammation" which is a catch-all for IDKWTF is wrong with you. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

My mother's had this - glad that's all you're dealing with. And in the future - no waiting overnight to get things check out!! Did they give you antibiotics or just a "wait and see"?
And Big ErN = costochondritis is no joke! I have that. Horrible lingering pain. Glad you found a good endo to do that thyroid test - they're much better as looking at the numbers as a part of a diagnosis instead of using them as an exact relation.

Sorry BB - wasnt' meaning to call you out. :-) I am not 100% on board with former huskers being the solution. But it makes for a nice story - home town kid does good.
I just think when things aren't going smoothy our immediate reaction is to fire people and I don't honestly know that it's the right way to go. I think that is what got us into this churn of mediocrity.
Today sucked - but D did look better. There were stupid decisions made on returns, on throwing into a tight spot, penalties, easy passes dropped, blocks missed. Sure, coaching staff could be better, but what I saw on the field was immaturity - Tyjon looked shellshocked each time he touched the ball. Poor Farinok got smoked today, multiple times and last week all were singing his praises. Lamar Jackson was in and out and made an absolute horse $hit move at the end of the game. But look at how the Davis twins played - a year in the system with the coaches and they were pretty strong - dominant at times. Lee made some dumb passes, but he's bold enough to keep firing them in there, our previous QBs totally lost their confidence and would be shadows the rest of the game. I do thnk that POB needs to see the field. We have to give opposing teams somebody who might scramble. Right now Lee's a sitting duck and our OL isn't able to hold.
So yeah - something needs to change but I am not on board with getting rid of Riley et. all. I don't have a care about the AD situation, and think those calling for his head are just doing so in order to feel that something material that they can point to got "done".

Sous vide machine experiment #5. French Dip made from previously sous vide'd chuck roast. It was excellent. This is exactly what this machine was made for.
