  1. Welcome back, who ever you are. Maybe if you would have spent more time around here your post may have some bearing in reality. Pretty much everything you said was not true. Hmmm. Maybe you should pass this info off to a couple of guys who are or were our athletic directors. At least this point is relevant. There's been quite a few troll posts around here lately. What's up with that?
  2. I actually think we are closer. Is he going to win one? I have no idea. Like you, I am willing to give him a few more years. However, the program as a whole is on better ground as a foundation than when he showed up. If he were fired today, it would be much easier for the next staff to come in and be successful because of the mentality and foundation he has instilled into the program. Quite frankly, much like political discussions it's all about what you WANT TO believe regardless if there is any truth to it.
  3. Start in April. campaign two weeks for nomination. have a couple debates. have the primaries. No caucuses. No town halls. Everyone has primary same night. Select the winner. Campaign. Have debates. dun. Agreed. I'd like to see voter ID implemented to ensure only living, legal voters vote. ^^ ThisA Voter ID law would be fine if the IDs weren't made harder for poor and minorities to get for the sole purpose of reducing their voting numbers. Yes this can and does happen. If an ID is required there should be a free voting version anyone 18+ can obtain easily. And more BS. This is simply not true. The right has offered the free voting ID version, and the left still spews this nonsense.
  4. I'd happily take the day of off, but employers would have a fit. This year was the easiest vote ever for me. Filled out an early ballot form, emailed it to the election commission, filled out my ballot on my time, dropped it off 3 weeks early on my way home from work. Too easy.

  6. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯Any way to get a word count? Or see how many were less than 2 paragraphs? Actually the percentage of words in those 5 posts compared to the entire number of words in the thread maybe be interesting... In the four substantive posts before the one on this page, there were 838 words, 4,136 characters, 10 paragraphs and 67 lines. In those four posts he has called Hillary: Weasel Afraid Evil Woman False Criminal Slick Evil Witch Diabolical The Witch Bitch He called Bernie Sanders: A Socialist Coot He called Trump: A Loud Mouth I typically don't read his posts. Cruising through these four is a reminder why I stopped in the first place. I can't imagine why anyone thinks this kind of discourse is appropriate for this forum. Based on past precedent, at least the moderation I've been involved in, I cannot imagine why this person is allowed to post here with comments like this. OMG, rich.
  7. Oh. So my recollection of Dr. King isn't far off base, and the current BLdM movement doesn't follow Dr. King's lead. As usual, thanks for nothing.
  8. I'll admit, I may not be as educated on Dr. King as some. Please show me where he advocated rioting or the disrespect of his nation.
  9. Idiotic statement. If people handled themselves as Dr. King recommended (not that any of these malcontents know who Dr. King is) we all would be better off. Dr. King protested in the streets frequently and often. Peacefully. He didn't riot, and asked his followers not to riot. Nor did he ever ask his followers to disrespect their country, as far add I know.

  11. No. It's because Oregon would never think about hiring Riley. Not even on the radar.
  12. I disagree, but we will find out. I won't be shocked if 2 or 3 of the RBs transfer out. Tre may be the only one left.
  13. Without Key Sr., this staffs' recruiting would be at Iowa or Northwestern levels. Eeeesh. They will need a helluva lot more talent to overcome subpar coaching. Getting an FBS level RB prospect would help.....if they were committed to a strong running offense.
  14. I believe his DC at one point talked about a team having a Daffy Duck offense. If your go to plays are WR screens and the jet sweep, quite honestly your offense is a Daffy Duck garbage offense which will set this program back. The longer this garbage is implemented, the longer it will take to get back to winning the West on a consistent basis. It's cute for Oregon State, but it will never be successful at Nebraska.
  15. I've always been a fan of Tom Osborne, call me weird.
  16. I hate Creighton baseball, soccer, and basketball, but it is cool to see the ladies volleyball team advance.
  17. if Tanner Lee can run a 4.47 that is incredible. He is faster than Ameer Abdullah in a 40 yard dashNot sure if 84s post was in jest, but I'd be shocked if Lee reduced his 40 time by .4+ seconds in a year. I guess if he was fat and dropped the bad weight I could see it, but not if he was in shape when he got here. A legit 4.47 40 is really fast.
  18. Ugh. If there is any resemblance to ZT and that offense, it's going to be a long next couple of years. Barring injury, I fully expect Lee to take the first snap next year, but I'm not expecting the offense to be in the top half of the league.
  19. Uhhhhh, wat? The whining and crying is being perpetrated by those who are protesting the election outcome. I'm just sickened by their actions. I fear that the entitlement mentality these people posses is going to lead this nation down a dark, dingy road. It's already started down that path. I frankly don't care for rude, selfish, thoughtless, or entitled people. Call me weird. It's amusing that you still think/pretend to think this was the issue people had with your posts in this topic and others. If you'd said the protesters are whiny and entitled there'd probably be some argument and that'd be the end of it. Since you still say you don't get it: the problem is you made a generalization about ALL millenials. It's convenient for your mind to put all millenials into this little box but it's a bunch of horse poop. Millenials aren't what you think they are. They're a very diverse group of people just like any other generation. Ok. Seems like I hit a nerve. No reason to rehash this discussion. Again, where did I say who I voted for? I agree, Trump is whiny and needs to sack up.
  20. It certainly is my right, no possibly about it. They do have the right to peaceably protest, no question. They have the right look foolish. They're entitled to an opinion, even if the opinions are meaningless.
  21. It's called having an opinion. Quit flaming me. They have an opinion and they are expressing it. It's not flaming. It's called a discussion. Those who are old enough to vote are entitled to their opinions. When they throw temper tantrums because their candidate lost, it's my right to point it out.
  22. If this comes to fruition, he seems like a good recruiter.
