My guy isn't a decision maker by any means... he is more like the janitor who overhears things. Saying he is involved is probably a stretch but he is involved with the program. But to your point, I believe you are correct.

One of my guys involved just told me the plan is to make some announcements this Saturday. He has no clue who to to what positions though. He said everyone is in the dark right now.

And he should have been fouled out in regulation. Still scratching my head on the out of bounds review. That was a huge call at a critical time.

12 months ago quite a few people were calling for Chins job. The staff did do a good job this year but I believe their success had as much to do with a few special players as it did with the coaching. I'm not sure I would toss around raises everywhere for a 54th total defensive rating.

HARD Pass It was obvious we had the better QB back in September when we played. There is a reason this guy lost his job to a freshman... a freshman who struggled plenty.

Some of these threads lately...smh. Frost, along with literally 95%+ of coaches in college, want to run the ball. Frost has failed to effectively accomplish this goal. Nebraska's inability to run when we want to has cost us over half of our losses in the last 4 years. To think that Frost, or any other coach, isn't running because they don't want to is flat ridiculous. Some of you are putting Michigan on a pedestal. They will likely make the college football playoff when they beat Iowa Saturday. This is the same Michigan team that Nebraska was beating with 3 minutes left in the 4th... We lost because we fumbled on a power run play.

I'm actually encouraged with the offensive effort. Most of that side of the ball played great today. I learned they aren't quiting even though they lost some coordinators. 28 should have been enough to win today. I learned big ten officials call very few penalties this time of year. They missed a pile of calls on both sides. Most of all, I learned how much JoJo meant to our defense.

For me today will say quite a bit about our future. Do they continue to show up and fight? Sure hope so.

My sources haven't heard anything regarding Yant. They expect him to play out the season at minimum. If he is jumping ship, he is keeping it quiet.

Adrian Martinez has been good enough to win a lot more games. Scott is right, Nebraska could be a heck of a lot better around him. However, Adrian does have an uncanny ability to choke when under the pressure of a close game. If I'm Scott, I try like hell to bring him back, for obvious depth reasons, and I try to bring in the best transfer QB I can find.
