  1. The Rozier controversy wouldn't be complete without talking about him signing a contract with the Pittsburgh Maulers a day before the USFL draft.
  2. Glad it wasn't Incognito but I gotta post this kid from Gage County
  3. And Harbaugh isn't calling the plays, oc Josh Gattis will be. My guess is that changes about the 3rd quarter of the Wisconsin game.
  4. I disagree. QBs of the 70s don't have the completion rates that today's QBs do. Dave Humm was 54.8%, Vince Ferragamo was 57.5%, Martinez is head and shoulders above them with 64.6%. Martinez's int:attempt is a lot better too.
  5. You'll like this video. Austin talks about players becoming coaches at about 2:40, Farniok gets some love.
  6. Yeah he is. Wonder who the other beast, Black 92, is. He had several reps against Prochazka in this highlight reel.
  7. The 92 Husker Huskie game is still loudest game at 133.6 decibels. We knew going to the 97 game it was going to loud. The Skers never trailed, that kept them much quieter than 92.
  8. On this list, I've been to the (2)Big House, (8)Memorial, of course, and (13)Husky Stadium. Most of my memories are when Memorial Stadium rocked 76,000, now it's over 90,000 of the best fans ever to walk the earth. I love the 'HUSKER' 'POWER' back and forth chant. The '92 Washington game was probably the loudest I've heard there. The video replay system is outstanding. They hardly ever miss a replay (sound system is worse than the Kraco speakers I had in high school). The Pride of All Nebraska puts on an outstanding show. I think 8th is probably about right. Big House is overrated. Yeah, it's big but... Of the half dozen or so games I've been to, the crowd needs wake up, wash down some No-Doz with Redline Extreme. I've been to Nebraska games in Manhattan that were louder. We went to the 2011 Ohio State game, that's the exception to this rule, and that had more to do with being 1 of their 2 wins over tOSU in the 21st century. The bowl is gradual and row 99 (yeah, they have a row 99) is in a different zip code. Their band is excellent. Their replay system isn't up to Nebraska standards by any means. Husky Stadium: It's all metal like old Johnny Rosenblatt so the stomping is like pounding a huge drum. Then they have metal roof that traps all that crowd noise in the stadium. The stadium is a horseshoe that has amazing views of Union Bay. The 97 game was easily the loudest game I've been to. They're underrated by my estimation. I'm putting Notre Dumb Stadium and the Horseshoe on my bucket list. They're both about 3 hours from my place.
  9. Watched Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas last night...
  10. Former HuskerVision AD Shot Kleen told me after the game that she was fine.
  11. While you guys were googling the kid, I googled the dad. He's the assistant head coach and linebackers coach at Northern Iowa. Frost was co-defensive coordinator and Linebackers coach at Northern Iowa. Also Mark Farley was Frost's head coach and is still there. Wonder if that played any part in getting the ball rolling for Travis.
  12. Dum bass is back at it: https://dailycaller.com/2019/05/25/david-hookstead-nebraska-wisconsin-football-game/ Dude's opinion of himself wears thin quite quickly.
  13. Those are all college rings. Might be a Lambardi ring and 2 B12 D player of the year?
  14. Romy does a nice job with his interviews and this one is good too. At 7:10, Romy asks about culture, he doesn't ask about how bad it was but the direction. I don't really care to hear about how bad it was, we all know it was. The next two minutes are boilerplate for Frost but it's always fun to listen to. Thx for the link.
  15. Crazy list, a coach with 2 years at his current school, three coaches with just one year, and one w/o even that. How did Herm Edwards not make the list?!
  16. I understand now. I took the third graph to mean the just the P5 schools vs the P5 schools.
  17. These graphs could be labeled better. Anyway, the third graph, I think there are 65 P5 schools. 81st? Is that a percentile ranking?
  18. It would have been 50% longer if they has been triplets
  19. The "why" of the 5 Ws is hardly touched on in the article. It seems to be quite an aggressive approach for a problem that I perceive as being rather small.
  20. I asked in the Dixon thread if just scholarship athletes were getting "cut." I was asking about these two. They're good citizens and good teammates, just not great athletes. They definitely have that close twin connection. I hope they find a place to be on the field together.
  21. Someone call Zak Taylor before they use their 223rd pick.
  22. I knew her name sounded familiar! How cool is for Coach Frost to be on staff as HOFer Frost is inducted? Read her wiki, she's still killing it! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carol_Moseke
  23. You've probably driven more clicks to this article than the Daily Caller has.
