  1. The problem isn't the interviewee so much as it's the interviewer being a transparent lap dog for bulls#!t, but you already know that.
  2. Definitely not. Pelini's strongest strength as a coach was player development, which as you pointed out, results in him putting a good amount of guys into the league. But he was refining average talent into good talent moreso than sharpening great talent into elite talent after Callahan's recruits ran out. Sure, we always had at least one stud difference maker, but there's a correlation between Bo's inherited talent level depleting and his rise in ugly blowout losses. That 2004 squad would have been the least talented roster he would have had compared to all his years at Nebraska. My only point is that I doubt he'd have similar success with it as he did with Callahan's players and positive momentum forward from there
  3. Cosgrove only had one actual bad year, and two really good ones here. Bo getting hired in 2003 is an interesting what if, for sure, especially because our talent level had fallen off a cliff, and a huge part of Bo's eventual immediate success here was that Callahan had stacked the cupboards with a massive amount of talent. Bo never cared enough about recruiting for me to believe that he would have been able to maintain or do as well as he did if he started in 2004 with a very subpar roster.
  4. Well, wouldn't you imagine a border that is being relentlessly attacked by one of the largest armies in the world would require more resources to secure than one that isn't? Agreed.
  5. Imagine telling Tom Osborne no in 1997.
  6. The DNC machine is very clearly priming the pumps for Gavin Newsome.
  7. It's more Harbaugh than Michigan, who is not a team that our fanbase has an above average amount of collective hate towards. He's weird and eccentric, and although he's calmed down plenty in recent years he has a long history of being incredibly difficult to work for, and also for being more or less a whiney petulant child at times. No doubt an incredible coach but it's not exactly an accident that he got ran out of san francisco. You've gotta be some type of way to wear out your welcome winning that much. Nebraska fans never hated Brady Hoke.
  8. Field sobriety tests are definitively stacked against you. They are not meant to help you, they are only meant to help the police gather data and evidence that could be incriminating. Best to refuse them in all circumstances just like it's best to never answer questions. When a cop asks, "You know how fast you were going?", they are not being friendly and cordial and conversational, they are trying to get you to admit guilt.
  9. While the way NIL is operating currently is incredibly murky, most of it run through these collectives does technically fit the bill in terms of, "Okay, here's the bag we got for you and now your expectation is to sign these footballs, attend these booster events, take these photos, show up at blah blah blah".
  10. My Lil Pudgy penguin is currently sitting at a nice floor price of 1.93 eth
  11. Why would you be fine with bankruptcy at all? That's not fair to all the people that have managed their money well.
  12. Good for you, but it's not a competition. Other people getting help for something you did on your own is no threat to you.

    NFL 2023

Here you go buddy, link is timestamped: https://youtu.be/GsMBFqrM2Ls?t=299 Here's him saying Go Big Red last year https://x.com/Buccaneers/status/1570442328916914176?s=20 Here he is talking about his time at Nebraska just a few years ago https://saturdaytradition.com/nebraska-football/nebraska-great-lavonte-david-talks-opportunity-to-play-in-super-bowl-with-fellow-former-huskers-ndamukong-suh-khalil-davis/ He came back and got his degree in 2021. His relation with Nebraska is fine, and this isn't a slight against Nebraska, but a gesture of gratitude towards every place that has helped him along the way. He's also had his high school repped in starting lineups before. I don't get why our fanbase is sometimes so determined to look for slights against us.
  14. They absolutely can, because it is hard to recruit to ND. They have very stringent admission standards. Also, why are y'all still talking about this? I gave you the chart a long time ago. The chart is the truth and the way and the life.
  15. Unless his criminal actions prevent him from being chosen.
  16. Doesn't encounters essentially mean people crossing or trying to cross? Which has nothing to do with the president or our country's policies but everything to do with the climate in the countries they're coming from?

  18. He took a stand against bulls#!t journalism and a bulls#!t question, and in so doing also unequivocally went on record saying he condemns any form of vicious racial discrimination. So he is (per his claim) against it, while also discussing the topic in such a way as to expose the loaded premise of the question actually being asked in the first place. The question wasn't *really* about white nationalism, and as such he refused to agree to the framing. Basically responding in kind, and like I said before, he actually revealed himself more to me in the answer with his addendums and disclaimers, but I see no valid criticism on the basis of, 'He DiDn'T cOnDemN wHiTe SuPrEmAcY!!'
  19. This isn't a bad strategy, but it is the conservative one. Deboer's motivation was 'we're good enough to get the first down and completely end it', which also isn't a bad strategy, just an unlucky thing.
  20. This is a terrible take and interpretation. Ramaswamy is a clown for a lot of reasons, but this isn't one of them. While I think his premise and conclusion are both lacking some important clarity and articulation, which actually does more heavy lifting of revealing his true stance towards race relations (which I find to be inadequate), the question is not served as a neutral opportunity, and his response exposes it as such and is at least something better than, 'MY OPINION IS THAT RACISM IS BAD PLEASE CLAP'.
  21. No regulations also has nothing to do with the second amendment.
  22. I think the conversation is specifically around parity at the very top, not just in general. Basement dweller teams winning 8-11 games in one random year or even over a period of a few with the right coach isn't that novel and has happened plenty of times.
