A win. I'm seriously concerned about this game...

You all never play anybody. You have about 6 or 7 guaranteed wins this year and will probably get an upset or two. You'll play in a crappy bowl game and will probably win a shootout. I have you all penciled in for 9 and 4. 8 and 5 is a better chance than 10 and 3. 7 and 6 is a much better chance than 11 and 2. You guys are poorly coached, have a bad defense, have a quarterback that throws like a girl, and don't really have the will to win. Thankfully for you you play a bad conference. You know I'm almost positive you're trolling, unfortunately you've said nothing that isn't true....

In what way? Because we don't dot an "I"? I love our band. Some years are better than others but they add a tremendous amount to the game day experience. When I went to Minnesota I was totally blown away by their band. It wasn't just a generic, traditional set that our band does every game, it was a real concert and easily the most fun I've ever had watching a marching band. No disrespect to our band, but a lot of their performances are only a few levels higher than my old highschool, most Big 10 bands are on a completely different level altogether. That said I've heard the UNL music department is planning on stepping up their game in the coming years. We can still keep the tradition while adding new, exciting performances, personally I was really fond of the show they did for our last Big 12 home game, it's the only performance they've ever done that sticks out to me.

It was against Colorado sometime in the 90's, I was really young so I can't remember which exactly. All I remember was we were trailing late in the 4th and completed a deep pass to set up a game winning field goal.

Even Irving Fryar had rare slip-ups, No receiver's going to be perfect but 18 dropped passes in a season is inexcusable, doesn't matter what kind of an offense you're running. Well, less than a decade ago NU fired a HC who coached here six years and accomplished..... 1. 75% win pct. 2. final ranked in the top 20 six times 3. final ranked in the top 10 three times 4. twice the BigXII COY 5. won a conference championship 6. Played for the national championship I don't see how that translates into "consistently losing to your conference rivals" at all. It was just a very, very stupid decision by an ego crazed AD. That AD was fired and ran out of town. He'll never return. We all know what a supreme disaster the Clownahan era was. Bo takes over and three years in the BigXII beats Missouri, KSU, Colorado, Oklahoma & Oklahoma St. With the lone exception of Texas (& Beebe's hack refs), he most certainly wasn't "consistently losing to his conference rivals". In just one year in the Big10 where NU arguably had the toughest conference schedule he's already beat Iowa, Michigan State, Ohio State & Penn State. Assuming he will "consistently lose to conference rivals" is based on nothing that I can see. It seems you're working awfully hard to justify yet another mindless and disastrous decision. TO isn't Pedeyshine. Despite your claims, I very seriously doubt TO is considering firing Bo "or" has him on a hot seat. It took TO himself nine years to win a conference championship in arguably a much less tougher conference. Considering that was with TO taking over a sexy Maserati that won the national championship twice in Devaney's last three years while Bo took over a wrecked, used Pinto.......well, once again TO is not stupid. This is a great point, but the bigger reason why people are becoming impatient has less to do with Pelini going four years without winning a conference and more to do with the program going 13 years without a championship, which isn't entirely Pelini's fault.

I think it was because they switched to "N" the year before so they still had some of the "NU" helmets lying around. This was back before they had 7 backups of everything for every player so if one of the new helmets got damaged they just wore the old ones. That's just a guess though.

I'm not sure what the point is. Schools fire coaches with time left on their contracts all the time, we just did it four years ago. I don't think it's as important to recruiting as it's made out to be.

yeah Crick is out for the season, some other defenders too, offense is virtually the same though.
