  1. I wouldn't call Green "money" on any of his throws. Otherwise, I like the post. I'd also call on us to run some end-arounds and reverses the next few games. Sprinkle in some misdirection. And get McNeill into the game!!
  2. Here's the link: link Suh, Crick, and O'Hanlon have all been recognized this year. No other team has more than one.
  3. I'd guess yes. Plus we're playing other north teams, so the south bias is eliminated.
  4. He'll be lucky to get drafted before the 5th round if he goes after this season. He's still really young. Next season we can debate whether he'll leave after his junior year.
  5. Just to add some fuel to the fire, I'll point out that the B12 South teams we faced got fewer holding calls against them. IMO the north vs south games in conference are often stilted towards the south's favor where penalties are concerned. I'd love to see a statistical breakdown of the north vs south holding calls the last couple years.
  6. Agree that the "Nebraska Coaches Show" is terrible and bland. Completely disagree with the rest. Pavelka was such a homer and talked done about the other teams and coaches so often it was hard to even listen to the guy. Listen to some of the pregame and game against Florida in the 96 Fiesta Bowl and you'll hear it. Jim Rose was just god awful!! I quit listening to the radio except when absolutely necessary during the those periods. Greg Sharpe is much, much better than either of those 2.
  7. Has anybody tried watching the game live on ESPN 360? I know the replay of the Mizzou game looked pretty good, even on my crappy monitor. That's a possibility for those not getting the game (or disliking the SD quality).
  8. Let me guess. They were testing him for hands? Apparently testing has confirmed his hands ARE made of stone! More at 11.
  9. Thanks for the explanation. Yet another reason to hate both ESPN and the B10+1.
  10. The only way you will see the Nebraska game on ESPN is if you are getting the Minnesota/Penn State game on ABC. Otherwise, if you are getting Cal/UCLA or NC State/BC game on ABC, you will see Minnesota/Penn State game on ESPN. How do you know that? I see that my earlier thought was wrong for the regions which get the Cal/UCLA and Minn/PSU. But how do we figure out which other game is on ESPN?
  11. Are all the ABC games in HD now? Previous years only some of the games were. I know all the ESPN games are in HD. I'm just goin' off of that coverage map saying it'll be in HD. But if not no biggie, I just wanna watch it from my house. I know you were, it was just a general question as I haven't watched as many ABC games this year. Are all the ABC games in HD now? Previous years only some of the games were. I know all the ESPN games are in HD. Yes, they are all in HD this year. Thankfully. Was so annoying in the past years because it seemed everytime a Big 12 team was on ABC it wasn't in HD. Or at least it was like that a few years ago. Can't remember about last year now. Ha. Yeah, even last year not all the games were HD. A couple years ago I read that ABC wanted to over several years buy the HD equipment for all the games they cover. That way they spread out both the initial cost and then the replacement costs down the road. I refused to watch the SD games unless it was the Huskers. Football is just meant for HD!!
  12. I think TTech will start out with this plan and then adjust as needed. Carter is a pretty darn good OL, so he will probably come up with some plays against Suh. The real question will be how often does Suh get 1v1 and what does he do with those plays? Or.... The TTech coach is putting some misinformation out there. If they've got a plan to neutralize Suh, they certainly aren't going to announce it in advance.
  13. Are all the ABC games in HD now? Previous years only some of the games were. I know all the ESPN games are in HD.
  14. Well, I'd say TTech doesn't actually need any RB's. NU actually runs the ball AT a defense so we need RB's who can take on tacklers and follow blocks. TTech's run game is more like a surprise (like NU's passing game in the 80's and 90's) and almost any skill player could compete there.
  15. This is the important line: "ESPN will carry the reverse mirror of Minnesota@Penn State and Texas Tech@Nebraska." So you'll either get the game on ABC or ESPN. EDIT: Or maybe not.
  16. KU is bad defensively. Don't forget that ISU lost the week before to lowly KSU. KSU went on to get absolutely blasted this week.
  17. I still think he's a bad gameday coach. He takes too many risks when TTech is the better team, giving lesser teams a chance to beat them - and that's what happens.
  18. Play the play again at full speed and not slow-motion. And remember that the ref only gets one look at it from only one angle. It wasn't until about the 5th replay in slo-mo that I saw it wasn't a horse-collar. Cut the ref some slack on that one. There were too many flags thrown by the refs though. Gotta let teams play, especially in those conditions.
  19. Very classy to come post congrats after a tough loss. My opinion of Mizzou's fan base has improved throughout this week, and this is another example. But about football... Now that we've played and the score has been settled, let's all remember something that is just as important - beat the B12 south!!!!! We both have teams capable of doing some damage this season!! Go stomp OSU next weekend Tigers, and we'll try to stick it to TTech. I'm tired of the media always talking down to the B12 north teams, let's shut them up this year.
  20. Seems like we're up against those schools for a lot of recruits.
  21. I believe we were favored against VT in Lincoln last year.
  22. Except we have indoor plumbing, cities and teeth. Are you sure about that?
