  1. How is that any different than people on this board whining that Arizona isn't a good enough opponent, that we aren't going to allow their offense to get a single first down and how our offense will all of the sudden find a way to put points on the board? Arizona has had a better season than us, and is a team to be reckoned with. They are homers, we are homers, this isn't anything new? The fact that you guys only think they are delusional is, in fact, quite delusional.
  2. I don't know for sure the kind of person Urban Meyer is, but from my experience he is a really good guy worthy of a lot of respect, and I doubt he would do something like that.
  3. Good renders, ok final product. Thanks though.
  4. I've seen Jordan miss several field goals this season between 40-45 yards. Guy didn't have much range.
  5. Arizona had a better season than we did...you guys are just sad.
  6. If by "values", you mean love for Jesus as their savior, then yes they definitely have the same values. This is hard to judge, on one hand it wouldn't surprise me but on the other hand it would
  7. I have a good feeling that our offense staff is going to devise a legitimate gameplan that is going to give Arizona trouble. No idea what it will entail though.
  8. I really liked when we wore the all whites against Colorado in '07, the biggest reason being because we had white shoes with red trim, and white full length socks. I really, really liked that look.
  9. In order to make a fathead out of a Suh picture, the resolution would have to be HUGE.
  10. Indeed I did. Basically the same thing you'll see on this board, a fair amount of respect for the opposing program and acknowledgement that the game should be close, but confidence that their team will end up being the victor. The quick passing game eliminating Suh has merit though. Remember Florida Atlantic? Suh never laid a hand on the quarterback due to their 3 step drops and max protection (Arizona won't have max pro, but it will still be difficult getting into the backfield fast enough). Let's hope that our ends and blitz packages can bat down some balls and lay a lick or two on their quarterback.
  11. No pun intended?...but you spelt the word incorrectly and put quotations around it.. lol what?
  12. that is my understanding Here's the real question that I've asked many of my MU/KU/KSU buddies and co-workers down here in KC: "Do you really think it's an insulting moniker?" I have never once felt offended by the term NUB. Most times, I'm just puzzled by the meaning. Do opposing fans think that KSUcks, sCUm and other monikers are insulting? Probably not, it is just a respect thing. It is representative of a mindset that your program is superior to the one you are referring to.
  13. It is frustrating when people tend to have good success luring players away from us, but that's the way it goes when you play by the rules and don't resort to underhandedness.
  14. I always like being the home team and it seems we are more often than not, but Pelini is 1-0 in bowl games in away uniforms, so I'll be happy with what works.
  15. I have always wondered how bowl gift packages don't violate NCAA amateurism rules..
  16. Can't have a championship game in a conference with less than 12 teams
  17. Does not matter. Vote your boy #1. /story Nah, vote for who you personally and objectively feel deserves it the most.
  18. I was the one who originally came up with this, but I don't have time to do it. So if a mod or someone else wants to step up and take control I am totally fine with it.
  19. I can not for the life of me understand why people complain about how the Heisman is a joke and how people don't vote the right way, yadda yadda, and then they expect someone to vote for a certain player because they are from the same school? I want everyone to vote objectively, and if Rozier thinks that Colt McCoy is the better player (I disagree, but it's an opinion you guys..) then I think he should vote him #1. Do you think Florida grads should vote for Tebow, or should they vote for Suh too..
  20. Maybe I watched the wrong game-- but special teams scored the points against VaTech and UT. If the ball wasn't received w/in FG range, a punt was on its way. Special teams was also the main benefactor in Texas winning the game. It is so retarded playing this game, trying to seperate different areas of the team, everything meshes together and contributes to everything else, why do we need to do this?
  21. The only games that our offense truly, single-handedly cost us a loss were Texas Tech and Iowa State (in my opinion). okay, then list me the games the offense truly, single-handedly won for us? Single-handedly? None. Our defense didn't single-handedly win any either. But for the point of your question, the answer would be Missouri and Kansas.
  22. Seriously...if we are going to play this seperation game (the entire team wins and loses), we can't forget that: 1. Our offense scored us enough points to win Va Tech and Texas, and our defense/special teams miscues made mistakes at the end of the game, and we lost. 2. Our offense won the Missouri and Kansas games, no question. 3. Against Oklahoma, statistically speaking we didn't do crap, but we executed our game plan which was "Don't turn the ball over, play field position, and get lucky." and we ended up winning.
  23. The only games that our offense truly, single-handedly cost us a loss were Texas Tech and Iowa State (in my opinion).
