As of right now. Both Scout and Rivals has us in 4th in the big xii. Scout has us at 19. Rivals at 25th. Missouri Scout 29. Rivals at 28th. We currently trail Texas, OU and Texas A&M. This article is pretty much not checking facts............. O5 Rivals had us 2nd(big xii) behing OU 06 Rivals had us 3rd behind OU and Texas 07 Rivals had us 2nd behind Texas 08 is where we slipped to 8th. Keep in mind we had a 5-6 record, hired a coach who had never been a HC before and only had two months to get his class together.......... 09. We sit at 4th behind, OU, Texas and A&M......... What Rivals and Scout don't show is the number of Walk-ons......... Callahan didn't KILL the walk-on program but he didn't emphasis it........... Pelini redshirted 50 players THIS YEAR........ Did Callahan redshirt 50 players in his 4 years combined????????????? Many of those walk-on maybe 2-3(3 a rarity) star guys, but simply haven't been evaluated by the services or go to the combines............ out of 30 walk-on players maybe one, two or three of them are starters by the time you leave, you never know.......... Taking high school talent and having it be successful at the college level is a crap shoot, it certainly doesn't hurt to increase your intake in players to find a few "diamonds in the rough"

Kick it outta the friggin' end zone! that's the problem...kunali hasn't even been close to kickin' it outta the end zone...i remember when he first got here he was kicking everything out of the end zone..don't know what has happened since..there were times where the ball was getting only to the ten yard line..then we still gotta worry about the punt return Yea, maybe it's the wind sometimes. They keep moving the dang kicking spot back five yds so now it's a 75 yd kick into the endzone. Our kickoff coverage has GOT to improve though, was real weak this yr. It's NOT KUNALIC................... It is the coaches philopophy.......... The old staff said hey, if you kick a low line drive and it goes out of the endzone 60% of the time we will try to cover the field the other 40%. This staff wants Kunalic to get HANGTIME so that we can cover every kick......... (which as said has been less that good this year, maybe x-staff did something right?) It's two different thought processes..........

Well you have to assume that they probably bought an excess of 170+ PS3's and watches for everyone involved, and I'm sure buying such large numbers directly from the manufacturers would probably warrant a discount? At any rate, 80g PS3 with game is $500 retail, and there are a majority of Fossil watches that sell right around $100, so it would only have to be a $100 discount collectively. Doesn't seem too farfetched. Err....... 80 gig PS3 not that expensive anymore.

Whoever EARNS the starting job next year is fine with me............. I don't care if he is a true freshman, redshirt freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, 35 year old freshman, don't matter.......... Hell, if Suh wants to give QB a try now too.............. We have 0 starts returning next year........ What's the difference with starting a true freshman who hasn't started a game or a junior who has been running 2nd team reps.............. Not a whole lot.......... I see no point in starting someone with 0 experience instead of Green just to prep Green for a year, if Green can EARN the job, let him have it.............. It's really just one of those things that you can't get people to change their minds on........... like should college players get paid, or abortion, you have your view that is the way it is going to be.......... I say let the player who gives you the best chance not only to win now, but to win a lot down the road..... Other people say, a true freshman qb can't start, just can't, can't do it......... Just can't............ Playbook too big.......... College too different............. Young thugs can't act right........... ETC ETC............ They don't let the coaches do their jobs and evaluate players........ They just come up with reasons why a player can't do something..........

What are the chances the Big XII goes undefeated in bowl games this year???? I'm thinking about 90%. Obviously it depends on matchups. But I think Texas is a lock to beat Ohio St. Oklahoma is better than Florida Nebraska is better than Clemson Missouri is better than Northwestern or whoever they draw. Kansas could get an easy draw as well. Oklahoma St I dunno who they'll face. TTech should have a walk in the park.............

Clemson has the athletes to compete.......... This match-up is starting to grow on me although I'm still mighty upset we didn't get Florida State............ Nebraska should be able to control TOP, and Both Lines and should win............... However the secondary breakdowns could lead to a Clemson win................ I really had nothing to say.......... He's a beast, no doubt........ If he can grasp the playbook, which it seems as if he is a pretty smart cat.......... I really don't know if he will redshirt next year.......... I know a lot of you are huge fans of redshirts. But when it comes to a QB who you want to be your guy for 4 years, I am against them......... If he is our QB of the future which it appears he is, there is no reason to waste next year on a one year starter, then have Cody be a first year starter the year after, you would have two straight years with an inexperienced QB, I say if Cody is as good as he appears let him take over the team next year..............

They have specifically been working on Adis' hangtime ever since the new coaching staff got here. Right or wrong. It's one thing I kinda disagree with, I say if you have a kicker who can boot it out the endzone don't mess with his kick, but it is true that they have been working on his hangtime, they want good coverage. It goes both ways really. Not enough hangtime, if you don't get it out the endzone it's a big advantage to the return team, they can really get a wall set up on you. Too much hangtime, you run the risk of poor coverage due to inability to keep contain........ which would be a mental mistake. The coaches have a certain amount of hangtime they want adi to have, my guess is, he is doing what he's been asked to do. I know we as fans love to see that ball kicked out the back of the endzone, but that isn't necessarily the way a coach see it....
