      Maybe it's Detroit's scheme, but thus far in his career he's been an average-to-below average RB.....

      Agreed, he hasn't impressed. Fumbles a lot, and can't break tackles very well. He does still have the shiftyness though. 

       

      The Lions always seem to want to run him up the middle. Ameer seemed best on zone blocking plays and catching the ball out of the backfield at NU. Situations Detroit doesn't present to him often. Plus there are 3 other decent backs on the team as well.
