Husker quarterbacks: Do you think Coach Frost will allow his quarterback to ‘play through the mistakes’ or will he pull them? (I heard this question on 1620 The Zobe this afternoon and thought it was interesting. I think that as a former q.v. himself, Scott can tell whether a qb is having a ‘bad hair day’ and needs to sit out or the qb is just not getting it and needs to sit down. What do you guys think?

  I think he will, and Coach Frost will be better at fixing these problems on the fly. He understands Rome wasn't built in a day and we will see improvement consistently from whoever our starter is

  I agree with all of you. I think he will make wise decisions having been in that position himself but he will also work at using those moments as 'teachable moments' in which to help the quarterback become better at his craft. There won't be any yelling at them on the sidelines or keeping them in because they are the 'star'. I always hated that. If the qb is having an off day then allow him to sit out a bit, get his stuff together and then maybe go back in or not. It's not a crime to sit the bench when you're having an off day.
