It's not Conservative America's fault for the mess this country is in, it's zoogs' fault for pointing out that we're in a mess. All Conservatives did was elect all the people ruining the country. How dare zoogs say that?

Maybe what drives people from these conversations is the guilt they feel for their actions?  Buyer's Remorse.

People whose minds are yet unchanged are not the enemy, to be clear. But this is what we are fighting over — how we should look at things. It’s a worthy debate to have and i hope everyone participates. We need that.

It is close enough to impossible to respond to any of this so I will simply say that while I don't exactly disagree, I'm not of the same vantage point.  And I honest to goodness wish knapp weren't so abrasive in his response tactics.
