If you're finishing in the bottom 3 of the conference 4 years in a row and you expect your contract to automatically renew, I only feel sorry for them that they are clueless in addition to probably not being a great coach. The expectation should always be win or else. That's kind of what sports is about, we just happen to now have an AD that finally understands that.

I guess weather and lack of in state talent is not a factor for these sports

@StPaulHusker you are correct. Having local talent shouldn't be an excuse for any sport in this day and age and weather, considered against other B1G conference schools, isn't any kind of excuse either. Those are only typical excuses that pop up when you have underperforming coaches and AD's who aren't doing their job or a school that plain doesn't care about sports.
