I started looking for a Husker forum when Solich was fired. I think I did look at HuskerBoard, which would've been just a few months old at that point, but I ended up on the old Grand Island Independent forum's Husker board. I lurked here now and then for ages, but only made this my main board a few years ago.

@brophog I don't know if it's the software or the server hardware, but pages on HuskerMax load much more quickly for me than on here. HuskerBoard has a far better layout, though. HuskerMax's layout is kinda dated and needlessly cramped.

Since people keep mentioning the team's mullets and such, let's have a look at the hair of some of our players this season... Let's start things off with Will Farniok, who just stepped out of a Pantene commercial: Jaevon McQuitty: Luke McCaffrey may or may not have rolled out of bed just before this picture was taken: Andre Hunt, see above. Looks like they've rolled out a new Huskers.com website for this year. Notably, it's now on the same platform as the rest of the teams in the Big Ten - no more NeuLion. Huskers.com was previously the outlier in the B1G, I think just because of contracts that were in place before we joined the conference. Maybe I missed it on the old site, but there's a pretty prominent menu for recruits to get more info about Nebraska now, too.

Hail Varsity has a pretty good article up about the changes in the team's mindset as last season went along, particularly after the Purdue game, as told mainly by Gifford, Foster, and Stoltenberg.
