There is a time and a place for a free market. Hopefully and ideally that is MOST of the time. However, how is a "start up" to begin digging up neighborhoods to lay the fiber optics necessary to create their own service? This would be more extreme of an analogy of me saying, "I'm going to start selling things out of my garage to be the next Amazon in a few years. Meanwhile, I should grin and bear it while Amazon charges me at 500% margin".

He, and his producer, felt if Comcast or whomever wanted to filter information the free market would let them know it was unacceptable by choosing another provider (this is where I started yelling like a looney alone in my car, where else are we consumers going to go?) He then went on to say his point about the importance of unregulated internet to insure we citizens were getting all available information. I've started to respect Beck a little over the last couple years because of his stance against the Trump ilk, but it disappeared pretty quickly last night.

Listened to Glenn Beck a little last night while driving until he made my head explode. Literally in the same breathe, "If ISP want to limit info, more power to them, it is is poor business model. I can see that point. But I would have a hard time believing my prices would go lower. The ISP would most likely leave my prices as they are and raise the "streamers".

I think this kind of brings up an interesting point about the Trump Presidency. In a normal world, a President would have to put some kind of "signature" on the bill. They would have something they ran on in it so they could rest on it. Trump doesn't have that, he never has given specific plans or ideologies. So, like many have said, this has no direction. Trump is okay with whatever, as long as it's Republican. The problem is that not all Republicans will agree (see Rubio tweet). This, along with Trump, should be a disaster moving forward. I'm just hoping there is someone in the RNC that can slow this disaster down a little.

As a "white Christian", I'm really starting to have a hard time justifying my place in the world as such. Not because of "big scary liberal government", but because of other people who claim to be "white Christians."

If either of my sons (or daughter) gets free tuition, room and board, and a BMOC card at a Division I school, I couldn't care less about the throwing motion, swim stroke, volleyball serve, etc. Denying them that opportunity because "I (a person that doesn't matter in the formula) thinks it looks silly" sounds more like "abuse" to me.
