  1. I'm waiting for the movie.... meh..who am I kidding? I still will only watch the scenes about Bielema's wife and fast-forward through the rest. I'm hoping after the credits roll, Jessica0's true identity will be revealed!
  2. And a person who thinks more people should say Merry Christmas should have enough respect to capitalize "God". Otherwise, it just makes your "outrage" seem fake.
  3. Well, he should wash his hands. You know, with his "grabbing" and all.....
  4. You would think a person that voted for a President to make businesses say "Merry Christmas" would make sure to capitalize "God" in his/her post......
  5. At least we would have a back up for the Minnesota game trophy...
  6. I completely agree with the bolded. If there is any truth to Moos' comments about the team leaving locker rooms, buses, and planes a mess, it will take a year to get things like that straightened out. It will take time to answer the question of "who wants to do this thing the right way, and who is just here to party and play?" I coach 7th grade and my players will run after penalties in practice, they will run if not paying attention in practice, they will run for detentions, etc. There is rarely a complaint if they they know they are running for doing something wrong, they just groan and go do it. But, if I threaten running for leaving a dirty bus, it is amazing the amount of snide comments uttered under their breaths. They just don't understand the importance of "team" discipline yet. I would hope college players would get that by the age of 18.
  7. I'm hoping there are just as many disenfranchised "classic conservatives" as there are of us. And maybe, just maybe, we could produce a ticket that makes some sense. My POV: Kasich vs. Sanders: my vote would go to Kasich Trump vs. The Field: my vote goes to the field mice..... I just can not understand why either party refuses to come back to us "middle of the road" people. It is time for some kind of a "reset".
  8. I appreciate his happy demeanor, but does he realize what transpired last night?
  9. I agree that there is no need to complement "physical" things. But I don't see an issue in complimenting demeanor with customers, a professional success, or other things.
  10. I think the trouble people like this are having is equating "a pass" with "sleep with me and I'll be in a better mood when I give out Christmas bonuses". Now, I don't recommend a boss ask his assistant out on a date after two weeks on the job. But grown adults that work together for a long period of time can develop pretty serious relationships. I guess I don't see an issue with a boss letting his assistant know about these feelings as long as he is prepared to never mention them again and maintain a professional relationship after he is turned down. I'm I wrong in thinking this way?
  11. Your poor Broncos whipped my Cowboys.....so there!
  12. Just had a thought...Not sure I've seen a Moiraine post since Jessica0 showed up...
  13. I pay for my garbage and recycling service. Thank you very much! TransCanada doesn't have to pay for theirs. If the risk of a garbage truck turning over caused millions to lose drinking water, I may reconsider my methods.... What the heck: yes, I want no pipelines. What would that give us? Stronger trucking unions, stronger businesses in communities along the interstate, railroad jobs, and a reason to try to find more efficient uses for the expensive fuel? What if we didn't have pipelines?
  14. I tuned in for the same reason. The first 10 minutes had me captivated. I was out hanging Christmas lights before halftime..... If it wasn't my son's first game next week, I wouldn't waste my time going. I would much rather spend the day with my parents.
  15. 3 weeks in a row that the opponent scored running an "old school" option play. I'm starting to think the B1G is trolling Nebraska....
  16. Ummm........ The reason we're having this conversation is because some of that 72,000 miles failed. And humans with their ingenuity are forced to clean it up....
  17. Taking one of my boys to his first real Husker game against Iowa (he has gone to the last 3 Spring Games).  He was excited to hear that Nebraska will actually be playing another team, and even more excited to hear it is against Iowa.  Now for "the sad": he isn't sure if he wants to wear red or black.  This is a big game for the future of my household, Mr. Riley!!!

I gave you a +1 because your Rep was sitting at "666" and that number gives me the willies.

fun game regardless.  Maybe we'll do a black out to offset all the Hawkeyes sure to flock to Lincoln.

Could be a good learning experience.  You can say that as bad as this season has been, at least we aren't them (pointing at hawks fans).  Hope you have fun.

  18. I guess they didn't get it turned off in 7 minutes.....
  19. Kind of what I was thinking. If these are existing parts and pieces of guns, I don't see why they wouldn't fall under the same type of background check. Now, if he was machining and molding parts in his basement, that would be a totally different story.
