    Here's a thought for the small subset of fans who stubbornly claim we can't fire a winning coach, no one will come here, etc.: Urban Meyer is 34-3 since he took over at Ohio State in 2012. He has yet to lose a regular season conferencce game. He already has a BCS appearance and an undefeated sanctioned year. OSU and Nebraska are very similar prestige and tradition-wise. Why can't NU have the same success?

      Might be best to ask Urb that question. He is a coach who can choose his job. And he made one of the more well known comments about Nebraska's job in 2003.

      put more money into recruiting. need to invest in trips to CA,TX,IL,Dixieland,East Coast. Illinois recruits are there for the taking since UofI doesn't want them, apparently. Used to be kids that would go to scUM or something.

      I will concede OSU resides in a more fertile recruiting area than us. I just don't see any other inherent advantages they have over us.
