There isnt a huge difference between manufacturers. Once they come up with one innovation, they all adopt it. PXG Golf is interesting because they are positioning themselves as high end club makers. Their irons are $300 a piece.
As I think about it, I should have said "off the rack" clubs. I think clubs that are custom fit and built for your particular swing are probably better than the rest. But I don't have $10,000 laying around to get those.
