    This was the worst NFL draft for NU players that I can remember.  (Last year wasn't much better.)  It seems like not that long ago that we'd have five or six guys drafted, with a couple going in the first three rounds.

      I've said it before, but I do believe the draft is a valuable indicator of the talent you have on a team. It's not the only indicator and I certainly wouldn't put all my eggs in its basket, but, I think it's pretty telling only one Husker player was drafted in the late rounds. It's further evidence of the cultural and coaching breakdown under Riley.
