      The best western to come out in recent years is True Grit.  I like the Cohen True Grit more than the John Wayne original.  The new True Grit is more accurate to the book.

    When a woman calls a guy to tell him something why does she have to restate the entire previous conversation?  Why can't she just skip all that and just take 10 seconds to tell him the one new thing added to the conversation?

    Today my Dad goes in for double (potentially quadruple depending on other blockage) bypass surgery today.  He had a heart attack Friday.   This is hard for us, none of the family could see him over the weekend or before his surgery.   And his poor nurses had to deal with a crotchety old man who didn't have his phone, hearing aides or teeth.   Bless those care givers for having to deal with him when he can't communicate very well and is hangry.

    I like a roll, smoked turkey, bacon, tomato, lettuce, dijon mustard, mayo, pepper and cheddar cheese.

      Tangent:  I used to have a roommate from China.  I got some cottage cheese one day and put it in the fridge.  The next morning I came downstairs to find him at the table eating a cottage cheese sandwich for breakfast.  Apparently he'd never had cottage cheese before.  He thought it was some kind of sandwich spread.  // I sorta want to try it.  But I just can't bring myself to make a cottage cheese sandwich.

      It's hard to beat a plain ole BLT.  Lightly toasted bread with mayo slathered on both slices,  with crispy bacon, and a couple large tomato slices cut to fit.  Sometimes I replace the lettuce with large spinach leaves.   Mmmmm.

    A coworker was out 2 weeks in what was said to be self quarantine, we now know he was positive for covid 19 and our employer has yet to say anything .wtf
