Sandys is easily the most overrated bar in all of the Lincoln's. I would go to the haymarket and hang out in the open area. Hopefully a nice day will make many outdoor locations a possibility. 

I like Sandy's on game day BEFORE the game, they get a huge crowd and it is fun...after the game it is lame.  Brothers gets a great crowd after the game but not as much before.  Barry's is always packed.  I do like the haymarket but like you said, the weather can be an issue and also...the beers are so expensive compared to O street.  You know what is not bad...12th Street Pub.
