    Lets face it...a new coach will make the "search" and spring game very exciting... But, lets face it...its not like its going to be some 12-1 year. Also...Bartons Vodka is very very cheap and I am not even sure if it is vodka...it might be paint thinner

      PSU only has something like 45 scholarship players this season. Give it a couple years of top 10 recruiting classes

      No...they dont only have 45 scholarships...also...I would LOVE Franklin at NU...BUT...with some sweet OC's and DC's...Franklin is a HORRIBLE coach but an amazing recruiter and leader.

    He is a paycheck collector, as I would hope to be as AD of a big school. Ideally, you would hope that you are there for 15-20 years and never once make a real decision...anyone that says different is a liar. You want to walk into a spot where your basketball coach is a young Billy Donovan (No, not Miles, relax) and a middle aged Saban. You want to walk into the dream job...so you can shake hands, golf, fund raise and relax.

    Ole Miss was not a fraud...the people that thought they were good at football were morons. They are bad and will end up with 4-5 losses

    I am off basically all next week...if the game was in Lincoln I would love to go. You only get so many home games per year and if you are only going because you think you they are going to win, well, that would suck...I go to drink and hang with friends. With that being said...Omaha bars were dead today

    I get the "What coach would want this job if the last coach got fired with a good record" My guess...it would be a coach that wants a 5 year deal worth close to 20 million dollars.

    Oh, I also agree that these last few games don't matter. The AD already knows if the coach is coming back or not. They usually don't sway on just one game but they look at the season as a whole.

    I don't care about things, like his outbursts...I really don't think most people do I think most people just like to pretend like they care about it. Its not like you are up at night worried about it. But, not even bringing that part into it, I would not care if he was gone...I think it would make it exciting for Husker fans because of the coaching search.

    As HC? No way. Yeah they would...lots of schools would. We, as fans of the program, look at it much differently then people who are doing the hiring. Look who got high profile jobs with little on their resume that was "awesome" Saban got LSU Miles got LSU Muschamp got UF Strong got UT (you can make a case that he had more on his resume, but, not a lot) Franklin got PSU Kiffen (twice) O Leary got ND! Price got Bama! Hoke got Michigan Now, come on, none of those guys, maybe Kelly, had a resume where you would be like "HOLY sh#t! THIS GUY IS AMAZING" Does it mean he will get a new job if he got canned, I have no idea at all but to pretend like not one decent school would even think about him is crazy.
