    It is tourney play now...no reason to sit guys with 2 fouls. You have to win to keep playing and you can't bench your best players to put in doods that would make the "B" Team for most UNL frats.

    Would it really matter? There is not one person on the team that is going to make/break next season. If Fred ends up with the job...in 3 years at this time you will be filling out a bracket and finding ways as to how the 6 seed Huskers will make it to the sweet 16.

    This is a bigger hire than Frost. Everyone knew in the end Frost was the only one that the Skers wanted and I think most of us knew Moos would get him in the end. I bet most Husker fans did not think getting Fred would happen...but man this is huge.

    If you are a Husker fan all you need to worry about, if this is true, is all 10 pints of your blood rushing to your dong at one time. Don't worry about the NIT or dividing a locker or anything like that...just your dong.

    This hire is such a homerun that it is hard to even understand. 1. He coaches a fast fun entertaining type of offense 2. He doesn't really give a f#&% about defense but really who care as long as you score more points 3. Sure he hates recruiting but I am guessing 95% of coaches hate it, it doesn't mean he wasn't decent at it. 4. I am jealous of this hire, as an Illini fan, this makes me jealous.

    You can get tons of good JC guys...and the recruiting process for them is not like the HS recruiting.

    Sort of, it is weird. He hates recruiting so he will go the JC route, which is smart because the recruiting is so different.

    As an Illini basketball fan who just witnessed their first ever 20 loss season, I am jealous that Husker basketball fans might be getting a new coach.  I would love a new coach for Illinois.
