    How do you check notifications now on mobile?  A notification popped up at the bottom of the screen but one of the extremely intrusive ads was blocking it so I couldn't tap on it.  Now there's no more notification icon at the top of the screen.

      Go into your browser settings and change to "Desktop Site". The notification icon will be near top right. Don't switch back to mobile view. That's how I do it anyway. Never did like Mobile.
