I've never been more disgusted with the fans as this season. Leaving games early, doing the wave in the middle of the 4th quarter of a tie game, and now this incredulous lack of faith going forward. Get a grip, people. This program has bright skies ahead.

I swear to God... if I hear mediocrity used to describe this team again, I might freak. We won 8 games with a compilation of the 2nd and 3rd string offense and a defense that is composed well over 50% of freshmen. Sucks, yes, but I don't know what else you want. You want us to beat Alabama with the team we had?

Iowa lost games to four teams with a combined 3 losses. Minnesota was fired up for their coach and was in the midst of being the hottest team in the B1G for a stretch. Michigan State still has a chance at a Rose Bowl victory, and if all hell breaks loose, an insanely slight chance at a BCS Championship if they curb stomp Ohio State. Yep, we lost to a bunch of mediocre teams.

I've long believed I'm good luck for the Huskers. They had their first undefeated season at home last year, and it was my first year of going to all the home games. I was there for '08 Colorado, and the out of character beatdown of Kansas State in '07, and the 3 games I didn't watch or listen to since 1993 have all been losses. But before the game on Saturday, Corey Cooper walked up behind me and rubbed my shoulders... then got his first career pick. I need no further evid...
