  1. I’m gonna try to think of erstwhile careers. 1997 - Well, if we weren’t gonna hire Solich, that probably means TO doesn’t retire. So that’s a no. 2003 - Bill Callahan, on paper, would have been a good hire, somewhere else. He definitely didn’t fit with the culture though. At all. 2007 - As far as Nebraska goes, Pelini was the best hire. 2013 - I’ll admit, I was excited about the Mike Riley hire. I would have still said he wasn’t the best hire. Scott Frost seems logical today, but he hadn’t been a head coach. We had just been through that with Pelini, who I’d say his greatest downfall was his inability to delegate. Knowing Gary Andersen was available, he would have been what seemed like a better hire. Jim McElwain would have been a solid hire, at the time. 2017 - Yes.
  2. If he doesn’t sign, does that mean we’re going the Oscars route and just won’t have a coach?!!?
  3. That was sarcasm. Should have tagged it, I guess.
  4. Timmy might not have been able to trust them to lose, but the fan base sure could.
  5. UW-Oshkosh. I thought everyone knew that! So what if it was only 83 people in attendance.
  6. Seems to be legit. Blue check mark, pictures with the same Nebraska soccer player.
  7. 2015 Browns’ assistant d-line coach = 2019 Nebraska d-line coach 2016 Nebraska d-line coach = 2019 Browns’ assistant d-line coach What a tumultuous time both teams endured to make that (sorta) trade. I sure hope it was worth it! EDIT: I’m an idiot. Parrella didn’t come until 2016.
  8. Or to house opposing teams overnight when Mother Nature foils our plans.
  9. I think there’s definitely a chance possession of child pornography is pursued. The revenge porn factor does not hinge on him posting it vs. sending it to the girl; it’s the fact that he used it to shame her.
  10. Mike Riley looks 5-10 years younger than he did at the end of the 2017 season. Just shows y’all how well we have it, now that we don’t have to see the strain.
  11. Close. The guy on the other end of the flea kicker.
  12. Zac Taylor doesn't get the attention he deserves. That'll probably change after the Bengals hire him.
  13. He's one loss away from .500 in the NFL. He stuck around the league for awhile, but his performance as HC certainly wasn't worth $5 million. Although when you're Illinois football, you have to overpay to make the job attractive.
  14. Probably on Maverickboard
  15. Why would a recruit tweet out pictures of the visit if they were there to pull his offer?
  16. Are we talking like the Liberty Bell or a Salvation Army Bell? He better not try to throw a Kenny Bell, he’s bound to get laid out.
  17. Whoa. What’s the red flag that has everyone hitting the brakes?
