Have golfed once in my life but thinking about taking it up.... Best place to get clubs? What should i look for if i look on craigslist? Not looking to buy nice ones, just start a new hobby.

don't buy online, you need to hold the clubs and be able to swing them a few times before guying them. Don't get a super whippy driver for your first one, you'll be slicing balls left and right. find a golf store and pick up a used set. also, spend a couple bucks at a golf course that has a golf pro that gives lessons. Usually they have like a super beginner class for things like how to stand, how to hold the clubs and the basics of your swing for not a lot money. definitely worth...
