Seem's that Slusher wanted to go to a SEC team, after he had made a commitment to Oregon, who is a hell of a lot better than Ark. We wanted him bad also. Read all the time the top recruits want to play in the SEC, because they say it's a fast track to the NFL. Recruit's flip I get it, but PAC 12 didn't help themselves with how their viewed. OSU winning the NC and the rest of B1G winning bowl games, would only help the image, of the B1G. There is only so many spots on each team, not everyone can play at OSU. If we learned anything by Slusher and other players, conference status seems to matter. jmo GBR!!!

These next two years are going to be important in recruiting Calif. Before they go and land an U Meyer type coach. If Frost can kick start the turn around soon, we may be able to get a BIG footprint in the state. USC won't be down for long. I think we all know that. GBR!!!

Nebraska had 40 yrs of greatness using the walkon program, under Bob D and Tom. Some great players came out of them. Let's hope we get it rolling again. This kid just might be the next good one. Scott sees something in him. One question, will he be able to practice with the team, being on a track scholarship ? GBR!!!

What I remember is, he ran over people. Tough straight ahead power, and enough speed to take it to the house when he broke free. Didn't he turn down Okl or San F, when he had been cut his last season, and was asked later in that same year to come back and play for one of them. Could have been another team besides those two. GBR!!!

Not saying Frost will be the next T O, but Tom had Bob to lean on , Frost has Tom. Like Scott's chances of turning it around, better than the last 3. GBR!!!

Tom had the same doubters after a couple of season's, and for good reason I guess. Did take over a pretty good program, and was given time to keep it rolling. Frost walked into a S!^t storm, and a very bad team. Now he is going to need more time than T O ever did. Three years from now if they are still winning 4-5 games, then yeah your assessment of Frost was right. I think you will be proven wrong, and if so, it's a win win for all of us. GBR!!!

Is he expected to play right away ? 3 for 2 does it mean he might sit a year, looks like he can play right away. Wonder if the coaches are counting on him to see the field next year. Another thing, I find it strange that we have ONE commit from Neb. We used to have a lot of kid's on the roster from our state. Surly there are more than one of them in state, that can play for DONU. Are they just asking them to walk on, or has the talent level dropped that much in state? GBR!!!

I think I can give up 3hrs, of my time for 12-13 game days, of Cornhusker football. Been doing it for a long time. Best thing that happened is the B1G network, for us out of state fans. GBR!!!

I never understood why people wouldn't pull for our conference teams. Only makes our league look better, if they have a great bowl season. I hope OSU wins the NC, and the rest of the teams win their bowl games. Big-8 or Big-12 didn't matter to me, I still always pulled for our league. Well maybe Texass I had trouble with, but the rest I could really get behind. Go B1G win out. GBR!!!

Frost will be here, no matter how bad the next two season's go. Then things will get interesting. If he was at Fla, he would have one more year to turn it around. I can see why Fla wanted him to change some of his staff. I think this staff can grow along with Scott, but if it doesn't get any better after next year, he will have to make some tough decisions. We are 1 game better than last year, and I can see the team doing a little better. There were 2-3 games they let slip away late, so we should see some improvement at late game management, on both sides of the ball. Scott's first recruiting class was so rushed, you could say he only had one, with any time to really evaluate but the second one. This is no time to be calling for anyone's head. GBR!!!

I guess I should have said, until he has the players to make it work. He didn't this season, and he still kept calling it. How many times on first down, did it put the team in 2nd and long. Frost will make it work, hopefully with a couple more recruiting classes. We have the right coach now lets hope he gets the right players. GBR!!!

I think all the qb's would look better, if Frost takes the swing pass out of his playbook. GBR!!!

The offense looks good if they can finish the drives, or get some kind points on the board. Not really worried about where they are headed. What I watched against a very good Wis D, was impressive. The defense is still maybe a couple years away. Maryland used everybody, but the waterboy at QB. Yeah it was nice to see the backups get playing time, but it was Maryland. Chin need's a couple of more recruiting classes, unless next year is as bad as this year. I hope he can turn it around. It would be nice to keep a staff around that really seems to be growing together. GBR!!!
