    When does recruiting become a concern? Hear/see a lot of "its early" or "talk to me in jan/Feb". Is it early? It's damn near Nov 1. Look in Jan/Feb? It's too late then.

      We've done so in the past as well Decked. It has not worked out well in our favor. I agree, I hope we don't end up "settling" for anybody. We need to get the guys we want. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

    Just watched our offensive plays against BYU again. That unit was clicking, and a big reason for that was Mikale Wilbon. Maybe it's because he runs a lot like Ameer, but he looked extremely good in that game, and we haven't seen him since. That is probably the most baffling thing of the season.

    Do threads about Husker coaches being fired, or their possible replacements belong in the Husker Football forum? Have they always been allowed there? I'm pretty sure Husker Football has a full coaching staff they just hired in December. So speculating on that seems like a perfect fit for the rumorville/hirings/firings/what ifs thread that is literally pinned to this board.

      I don't feel as good about things as I once did. I'll give ya that. I think it's just an overall lack of learning and lack of progress that is unsettling.

      Every play counts. Until these players learn that, it won't matter. Bash the coaches all people want, this team would be undefeated if there was a consistent effort.

    In better news, after looking at the roster, I think every senior we are losing this year (outside of Jano and Cross) are addition by subtraction in my book. Clean up the roster with guys who weren't playing anyway and give the young guys some room.
