McCaffery's decision is fine. I have no problem with. Players have the power. All of it. And that's fine. But it's time to have real conversations about the NFL having their own minor league. College football is becoming too much business, and less pure everyday. The product is not fun anymore. And it's quickly dwindling. it's on bad path.   I haven't watched more than 5 mins of a pro game in 3 years. I still watch D1 games but really enjoy watching FCS games. NDSU fascinates me. I love watching their big linemen get after a D line and the hard running backs.

  The NFL has the shortest average career length and the highest operating cost of any major sport in this country, which are the two biggest reasons (in my opinion) that minor leagues or developmental leagues have failed. Furthermore, if you're worried about the college product, it will become much worse with a minor league system.
