No sh#t, December 21st, right after NU wins a 3rd straight conference title and a week after Cody Green wins the Heisman in a landslide. What a bitch to come up just short of being back on top because of the damn Mayans.

I've changed my mind, the thing I would go back and change is Zac Lee not getting hurt earlier this year. The more i think about this, that was the whole problem the whole season. I know they were sun belt teams, but damn it, you just dont go from that to what we were mid-season because of competition. And it's pretty obvious now that Green was played when he was simply because Zac's pain was too much to ignore at the time. But what I am proud of, is same with the Helu situation, the coaches or the team NEVER once used it as an excuse, hell we never even knew about it till the season was over. So that's what I would change now that I think about it more, just to imagine where we'd a finished with just an average offense that could'a put up 25 points in each game.

I think EZ E missed the point that look-a-like threads are intended to make fun of people ON THE OTHER TEAMS.

No way the Big 11 takes away 3 teams. I do believe that taking Missouri is a very real posssibility just because of the tv audience/money situation. If this were to happen, and the Big 12 has to pick up TCU or someone else to get back to 12, there would really have to be some sort of re-alignment, maybe to an east-west oreintation as opposed to just throwin OSU to the North or their would be some serious animosity.

That attitude that Bo brought back was the one of the 90's when "voluntary" off-season workouts were not voluntary because of guys like the Peters, Wistrom and so on. It may have been voluntary according to coaches, but is was a requirement to your teammates. That's leadership, and it's back.

I see alot looking at the 01 Rose Bowl, I honestly do not believe that any performance in that game wouldve prevented what was coming in the next 6 years. Nebraska was already dead before the 01 season, we just didnt know it yet.

Texas Big 12 championship 1996. The team was sick all over playing a pu&&y game in a dome, and let's face it, that game was a 1 in 100 that it would turn out that way. Nebraska wins that game, and they definitely beat Florida St. for the national title, making and unprecedented 4 in a row.

If you post things about recruiting in the football forum people are going to get after you unfortunately. I believe last year the early problems were caused by inexperience from top to bottom. Think about it. First year starting QB in either a Jr. with very VERY little game experience (if any from what I can recall) or a True freshamn. Basically a returning starter at Running back, then a bunch of freshman behind him. New starters on the Oline, new starters at WR. The offense that was trying to be run was obviously too much for the guys, then injuries started nagging at every position, then the offense was changed to not screw up and lets face it, these guys from receivers to backs to oline are not meant for a 2 tight, i set power running offense, so that was also a struggle. Everyone needs to relax and just ENJOY the inevitable that the offense will be substantially better next year. Im gonna go ahead and say it will probably be a 30 ppg offense, couple that with a defense that is partially as good as this year's, and the expectations are right where they should be.

It's not their fault, no one wants to playthem because they carry that "little to gain, everything to lose mentality" They have that Anytime, Anywhere slogan and what better team to take em up on it than Nebraska.

First off, Callahan did not WANT to be here. He was in the coaching toilet after the Oakland situation. He was not Pederson's first pick either or second. But when he took to job he had this mindset, and this is something I've bevieved since day one. "I'll take this job at this perenial powerhouse who is now struggling a bit, I'll completely revamp the offense, bring in top notch recruits, win a title and get it turned back around and then I'll be sure to get another NFL head job again, no problem, what an easier place to win football games than at Nebraska."

Shooting woes from aTm seem to be gone for now. You can bet there's a good ass chewing goin on from the lack of defense, a team scoring 43 in a half on Sadler's d is comparable to someone getting 3 touchdowns in a game on Bo and Carl's D, it's just not gonna stand. I'm just getting more and more excited on seeing this team play game by game. The young talent is just oozing right now with veteran leadership from Anderson and Henry. There's just been consant improvement from game 1, should be pretty hot team by end of year, future looks bright for Husker basketball.

If it's so damn bad, then give Christopher Lloyd and Michael J. Fox a call, they'll hook ya up.

1st off, i apologize for posting in the wrong forum, I thought I was in this when I was in the football, it was too late when i noticed. 2nd- I dont like Barack Obame, I did not vote for him. He is a lying piece of sh#t, a lot more than most politicians, and a very good actor as well. When they get that done, (and i'm afraid to say they will one way or another) they will have all power to say what you can eat, how much to excercise and so on. 3rd- you dont like my initial "classless" comment. When these crooked pieces of sh#t start showing me and millions of other prideful americans that they really have the best interests of this country at heart and not just some piece of sh#t liberal agenda or personal self interests, then i'll show some class, until then, most of these guys to me arent worth pissin on if they were on fire. Right now, i dont think it happens, but we will play em tough enuff agains to suggest that a win over KU is still just around the corner. This team is still extremely young and experienced, but very talented. So it is going to take some time against this level of competition in the Big 12. Later in the year, I'd say yes, maybe we give'em a run in Lawrence later in the year. But hey, what's better than baptism under fire. Only thing we may have goin for us is KU's been under a bit of pressure lately, close one with Cornell, maybe tonight'll be the slip up.

I like this idea, all conference champs and their runner-ups. The thing i think needs to be added is all conferences need to have 2 divisions and and a championship game in order to limit 3 way ties (as we saw with UT, OU and TT last year) and in which case if there is, you would still need to have some sort of computer poll to generate a 3 way tiebreaker.

The last four home games were blacked out if i remember right. As far as the reassembling of "the patriot staff" goes, it's alright with me, it worked for them. there's a good thing goin on in KC right now.
